I had read previously that the base turban was a seli topi, and the 2nd wrap was to hold it in place. If so, I’m sure it was tied as you demonstrated, but the base was reused a few days until it lost its structure.

Thanks for the thought provoking commentary Bhagat. I was also contemplating the inner clothes. The way I see it, I am not the body I possess. The body is the vessel and my soul animates this body, and is the sole director of this body. The body is a product of genes, the soul is the product of reincarnations on its ultimate quest to reunite with the supreme being. I feel I chose this body (and so does everyone), with its strengths and weakness to enable my soul to get one step closer to the merciful one, if it allows me. The soul needs to learn how to conquer the five vices and reinforce the five virtues via this body chosen of my free will (and not forced upon my soul). Won't get to see the immortal maker unless I figure out the requisite inner clothes to wear and present myself to it with....

I don't think it's the wife's duty to respect the husband. If the husband deserves respect, yes sure by all means. If anything the husband needs to respect his wife more, if she deserves it of course; a wife does a lot more than a husband, like giving birth. Love is not a duty, it's a mutual feeling, a commitment, a partnership, a contract to honour and cherish each other till death do us part. As per my understanding, Jesus loves all mortal beings created by his supreme lord father, not just a church? I see god as both man, woman; in between; and none all at the same time. I don't think the almighty is a human male variety with a long white beard sitting on a cloud playing a harp all day long 😊. The benevolent lord does whatever pleases it, no human has any say.

The ideas are ever-flowing. There are so many paintings that I cannot finish them all. So the question for me becomes "which scene should I finish, and release, next?" There are paintings that the sangat gets me to paint. I prioritize those and complete them. With my personal work - that painting which grips my attention and engages me the most, often gets completed first.
