Jess Turner yeah she’s nice. And she can spit it even better than this. Sonja been out a while, she was out before Eve, she’s not been out on yet, she’s so underrated. She been killing it on underground mixtapes since back when lil Kim was popping around 95, 96. People been sleeping on her.

Maryanne Oparaji maybe the cadence in the sentences come across similar, but for me Blade has always had her own sound. And since she’s been pretty consistent with her sound and been out before eve I’d said eve must’ve been influenced by her. Blades been doing her thing way longer than Eve. And I don’t get me wrong, I luv Eve, I’m just saying that because Eve has gotten more exposure, some may think it’s Blade that’s been influenced by her when it would have to be the other way around since Blade’s been out longer and has pretty much had this flow since her start

Maryanne Oparaji i know right! Eve has always had a real good knack for having great punchlines in her rhymes. That line she spit in there that you said was fire, I thought I was just me that loved that part lol. Eve has that ability to really gut punch you with some of her punchlines like Big Daddy Kane use to do. I do luv me some Eve, she reps Philly well!
