This clay did not work for molds. They warped and twisted and it was very brittle. Made it exactly as the video.

so, here's a question: if I start kneading it with the lotion, and then I realize it needed more microwaving, can I put it back in the microwave for an interval, or 2 of 15 sec each?
@tanilleroesler7743 Жыл бұрын
Okay, clearly I missed something because everyone else is saying this is great, but I had SO MUCH lotion globbed onto my hands and counter that I could see the color of the porcelain changing as I kneaded it and it still WOULD NOT STOP STICKING TO EVERYTHING. I turned around to look at the timer and there was eight minutes left and I'm like there is no F'in way, I can even get it off my hands and it took me almost fifteen minutes to clean off the counter.

Sounds like maybe your mixture wasn’t thoroughly cooked?

Hi Rettra. My favourite season is spring because of all the different weather types you can get in a single day. I live in the UK and we have lots of very changeable weather! I love spring mainly because of all the promise of renewing life and nature waking up from its winter slumber. Life in general makes me happy, rain or shine, I love it! Life is a gift we are often to busy to apprecite, so I try to notice what is happening around me as much as I can. I don't want to miss anything that life is doing. Especially in nature. It's so exciting! God bless you!

Since I don't have a microwave, can I use my stove top instead? Thank You.
@jewelboxballerina4 жыл бұрын
Yes. You can cook it on low heat in a non stick pan.
@jewelboxballerina4 жыл бұрын
Also, you have to continuously mix it until the clay separates from the pan. That's when youll know that its ready to be kneaded.

I tried this and made it exactly as instructed, but it stayed VERY sticky. I even threw it back into the microwave for 2 more cycles and had to add some more corn starch. I'm at sea level in a dry climate so I'm not sure what I did wrong. :(
