you need to time the Crank as well as the cam shaft, this will give a complete timing position. when refitting the timing gear you also need to remove the gear lash as well as torque it the second stage setting as they have tendency to slip with oil residue on the taper shaft remove in the oil with a solvent cleaner will help. please note if you do need to torque to 30 Nm first then unlock the Fuel pump you will not shear the pump shaft. remove the pins and rebuild. shouldn't take more than ten mins to do.

Hi A quick advice for your pump removal When you loc the cam shaft gear with locking Pin you don't need to remove rocker cover to check are the valves are free Because when this gear is locked with pin The piston number one is always in top dead centre Then you locking the crankshaft in TDC with your 10mm pin And you can lock the pump and remove it Very good and well explained video Keep it up 👍👍👍
