when paul died, the band changed, when joey left and passed the band changed, when craig and chris left the band changed. Slipknot will never ever be the same without the original 9. sucks. only thing from the band i actully like ( and this is surprisingly a shock as a fan ) is a track from the .5 the Gray Chapter- Skeptic.. its obviously about Paul..( so ive read) after that... still stuck and will always jam out thier old stuff. just my personal opinion lol

I understand why Craig didn’t speak, he doesn’t speak. Ever. But Jim and Mick, Jim more than Mick but both have had their faces out there and spoken before but not here. I wonder why they didn’t give just a couple words. Hm. Idk. Things that make you go hm. They were both there pretty early on in the band so they spent time with Paul .. idk 🤷

1. WE NEED CHRISTIAN ROCK MUSIC THAT HAS DEPTH, THAT IS REAL, RAW, GENUINE, AUTHENTIC AND CLEARLY SHOWS EMOTION THAT IS HOW HEAVY AND DEEP LIFE'S TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS CAN RIP YOUR HEART OUT AND TEST A PERSON'S FAITH IN GOD. 2. WE NEED SONGS THAT TELL IT LIKE IT IS WITHOUT HIDING PAIN AND SUFFERING 3. WE NEED SONGS THAT DON'T SOUND FAKE, ARTIFICIAL, LIKE FLUFF, UNRELATABLE WORDY NOISE, "CATCHY SONGS" THAT SOUND INSINCERE OR TOO ADVANCED THAT NON-BELIEVERS DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Note to Christian music: 1.The devil is not scared of you. You have to try a whole harder than what is out there. I am not negating what Jesus accomplished in His Name, but it sounds like it is controlled by the record companies (money driven NOT Christ driven). WAKE UP PEOPLE. 2. Instead of TAKING and STEALING FANS' MONEY AND STORIES FOR YOUR OWN SELFISH GAIN, time to START GIVING US FANS YOUR STORIES THAT YOU HIDE with HONESTY AND DEPTH, and GIVING BACK TO FANS WHO ARE PERSONALLY FINANCING YOUR HIGHEND LIFESTYLES! TIME TO STOP RIPPING FANS OFF! YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT! PEOPLE WORK TOO HARD AND GO THROUGH TOO MUCH LIFE EXPERIENCES FOR YOU TO PROFIT FROM US! I have more respect for Sarah MacLachlan (a Canadian singer/songwriter/musician), who started a School of Music for future generations. WITHOUT US FANS, YOU DON'T HAVE A CAREER. STOP TAKING US FANS FOR GRANTED! THE PARKING LOT IS CALLING YOU. TIME TO START OVER AGAIN HONESTLY. 3. Most singer/songwriter/musicians don't have any or very little REAL talent. Everyone sounds good in a studio because you can hide behind sound engineers and sound technology.

Music speaks to me differently, more so in a Woodstock kind of way...dealing honestly with political and social issues. Musicians still overall do it for the money. Initially they start with good intentions, but over time they change and not for the better.

Paul and Joey were the heart and soul of Slipknot. Rest in Peace #1 and #2. Would have been nice if Joey's "brothers" would have done something like this when he passed-he totally deserved it.

I agree 100% !! I love Slipknot, especially OG 9 Slipknot, but I’ve always felt that they never payed proper tribute to #1 Joey Jordison !Stop avoiding it like it’s a plague or something !Hey the 25th anniversary tour is going on now, no better time than now 🤷🏼♂️Cause just like Paul, without Joey there would be no Slipknot ! R.I.P. #1/#2 🤘🏻

I dont see the Metallica comparison. I understand what Jacoby was trying to say, but i wouldnt put p roach in that "stepping into the next spot" category. BMTH/Slipknot, even potentially Shinedown would be next up bands imo. I will say...Jacoby is a great performer live. Always high energy, whatever city/state/country he is in. Going into the crowd, interacting with fans, they always put on a banger show. Last Resort is a generational rock song for those of us who grew up during that nu-metal period. The song still gives me goosebumps 20+ yrs later. Happy to see local radio still supporting P Roach, and 💯 recommend seeing them live 🤘

What's wrong with this comment section? Wtf... I mean, the comparison might be a bit out of place, but I don't think he meant it the way people are reacting to. Or maybe he did it on purpose (in that case, good idea maybe 😂). But still, to me it seems that most of what people are saying here is just them feeling offended and attacking for no reason. Wtf does it mean that many knew them for just a few songs (me included until pretty recently)? Give them a chance. They definitely have huge potential (weird to call it like that, since thay already so big). I see absolutely no reason to just attack and try to bring down people like that.

I just clicked on here to see the comments, lol. I knew this dude was gonna be roasted thinking Papa Roach is anything but a opening second stage last minute replacement on a Metallica tour. Sorry but it's true.

Jacoby is a nice guy but his vocal ability is not legendary and his songs are not generational anthems...they are filler tracks on commercial rock stations......Papa Roach will NEVER achieve the level of say Metallica's "black" album or GNR "appetite for destruction" or AC/DC "back in black"......its amazing to me that Jacoby is comparing his band to Metallica. Most decent local cover band singers could easily step into Jacoby's shoes with no problem. That is not the case with a legendary vocalist like James Hetfield, Axl Rose, Robert Plant, Bon Scott ect....Jacoby doesn't have that level of vocal talent.

I think a lot of people of chuckling at the comments about Metallica, I guess if we are using Metallica as the barometer to their phase of their career, Then Papa Roach must be in the Lulu phase of MEtallica

This fool actually thinks his band is at Metallica-level status?! 🤣🤣 I'm willing to bet The Black Album has sold more copies on its own than Papa Roach's entire discography combined.
