With AI, my creativity is no longer limited by my technical skills, and that's fantastic. It saved my career as a music producer by allowing me to switch genres easily and make it enjoyable again. I can now do it alone without depending on audio engineers, singers, musicians, etc., and now I get to keep 100% of the royalties... Aside from music production, there's a lot to do to break through as a successful artist in the music industry. AI frees up our time so we can spend more time doing these other necessary "boring" things, such as marketing and content creation. For my new music track to be released on the 18/10, I spent 4 days using AI to get it done, so it still requires a lot of work, but it allows me to produce stuff I could not before because of a lack of technical skills.

Together with my group, I have a plan for the label on distrokid. Recently, I wanted to add subtitles via Musixmatch to my songs. Musixmatch required me to confirm my identity by sending my ID card details to confirm that I had the right to claim the artist's profile. I would like to add that on distrokid I have never even "probably" had the opportunity to provide my personal data due to the fact that I am in the label plan and the only personal data given there is one of the members of my group. Musixmatch has denied my request to claim a profile. I think it was the fact that I couldn't enter my details on distrokid that made it happen. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Much will depend on how much 'value' is attached to AI generated Music. I am a visual Artist and I have seen a lot of pushback against AI Art not because it's bad art but because it's seen as being low effort and cheap- and people who buy products with art in them don't really like the idea of being sold low effort stuff. Even Sci Fi fans have objected to publishers using AI Art on their book covers- which is kind of funny in a way, given that Sci FI and AI would seem be a natural fit. It might not matter if you can generate a song in 20 seconds if people view that song as having no value, and worse, if using that song in a commercial product makes people think your product is cheap and nasty. One of the themes that comes up a lot in discussions about AI Art is that of 'respect'. People feel they are being disrespected by those who try to sell them AI generated art because it's so very quick and easy to make- so the very thing that makes AI generated content so attractive to sellers- it's quick and it's cheap- is exactly what makes AI content so negative to buyers. So while it might seem inevitable that human creators will be replaced with AI generated stuff, this may turn out not to be true if using AI content is seen as toxic and insulting by the people you' re trying to create that content for. A good example of this is the company that publishes the Dungeons and Dragons franchise- they use a lot of Art in their books but so far have not switched to using AI, even though this would save them a lot of money- instead they continue to use human artists- why? Because their customers have made it very clear that they don't want to buy books filled with AI generated art, and see AI Art as a cheap and debased form of art. In a way AI generated content might be victim of it's own success- it's so quick and easy to make that it's seen as worthless by many people, leading to a situation in which anyone using AI content is seen as insulting the very people they are trying to sell to.

Expanding on the issue of "AI production rights", regardless of the sector, be it music, health, finance, tech, etc... Remember, when you are lifting your arm with your hand armed with a hammer, you are basically "prompting" the hammer to hit a nail head, with ultimate results being to "seal a coffin", for axample. Prompting a bot agent to "create a song", even directing it using [meta tags], and other techniques, fully qualifies one to be regarded as the one who owns that particular product, or rights to it, as rights gets 'deferred' to a person, either natural or juristic. So, rights get limited by certain conditions, for example in the case of a juristic person called SUNO, they have full rights to the product for as long as it was created by a natural person, on a free plan wrt to their offering of the platform, however, as they are unambiguous about it in their platform, one gets to have full production rights to the songs they created/"prompted for them to be created by the tool", while being on paid subscription model.

Many of these AI songs require quite a bit of human intervention, (turd polishing) to make them presentable songs. So it's not totally AI anymore. Having a room full of instruments and people to make music is going the way of the drafting table.
