The coolant light is on for me too in my 98 Cobra and it's an absolute eyesore. Have you tried getting rid of it before?

i just check the fluids every day to make sure nothing too bad is actually happening. Theres just a small crack in a very short rubber coolant hose that i didnt change yet. Im not 100% sure that thats the issue but i will be sure to make a video on it when i eventually replace it. Its definitely an eyesore and so is the check engine light. The seized brake caliper is whats on my mind the most.

@@TheShinyMonk4374 its done 143mph off camera and its my only car so i dont want to kill it, and theres at least 2 full throttle pulls in this video before the 2 minute mark. I hit the same on ramp every day giving it the beans lol

At 1:14 thats 2nd gear to 3rd gear full throttle. Its not a fast car.

Im gonna leave it alone / fix whatever breaks over time. I love the car but the brakes are overdue for an overhaul lol

@@Turismo860 Maintenance before modding. I use an OMT brake bleed kit and correct adapter, super easy. If you're overhauling the brakes, maybe get some stainless lines too.

I just traded a 2009 BMW 528i for a 1998 Mustang, it was born a V6 but has been totally upgraded to be a GT, with the 4.6 V8, a T5 transmission, tubular frontend, rear is 8.8 with 373 gears, I have leared that the 4.6 V8 can have a common failure of spun rod bearing, which car will still run but its life is close to end if its not fixed, thin oil is better in these engines.

@@Turismo860 she was my first Mustang, 07 V6, got it with 10k miles, now it’s got 70k. Just recently sold my 2016 GT and bought a 350R 2 weeks ago. The 03 was so raw to drive, just the noise alone was awesome

@@Mustangkev918 i ask because idk if you could get the 4.6 in the new edge also. Like, my body sn95 you could get the GT with 2 different v8 options but i only ever see the new edge "GT" as a 5.0 car.

@@Turismo860 new edge ends in 04 and only came with the 4.6 (v6 also) unless you got the Cobra of course (5.4 v8). 2005-09 started the S197 which also came with the 4.6. Not until 2010 I believe is when you could get the 5.0 from factory. (The 350r is literally sitting waiting to be picked up, I’m not in the states right now, my dad grabs it for me October 5th. You don’t know how excited I am to drive it, I plan on doing a pov drive like you did)

@@Turismo860 currently doing a suspension rebuild, water pump, thermostat. Some various exterior parts too. Will be getting new tires after suspension rebuild. Then finally spark plugs and Injectors

I have an H pipe exhaust with the stock headers when I bought mine it sounds like a racecar at Daytona 500 it's absolutely incredible. It's loud. No Cadillac converters.

@@TurdCurdle i wish it was the exhaust. The rattle in this video was the throwout bearing, my friends and i did a clutch job recently and its still there :/ maybe an adjustable clutch cable would fix it?

@@Turismo860What clutch did you use, you might have put the clutch disk in the wrong position. It really needs to be aligned & torqued to spec with an alighment tool made for ford, stay away from anything dorman, id suggest summit ; @ 0:23 seconds in that sounds like the flywheel.

My throwout bearing is absolutely NEXT on the list of things that need to be done, that noise is universal with these cars in manual it seems lol. Just hit 160k miles
