sks 15 is a frankenstien sks45 that if you get one that has the forward feed ramp on the rifle ground off,you have a jamomatic stovepiper.sorry im not being a troll just dont buy if you dont want to play a lottery.

Very observant! Indeed, around the 28 second mark, there was a slam fire. It was only a double, not a runaway. This is an early Russian SKS with the spring on the firing pin. So it was a bit of a surprise. I had foolishly expected that since the gun was purchased from a re-manufacturer, that it would have been fully cleaned. I found that there was still cosmoline in the firing pin channel. It has been problem free since cleaning.

I m not really sure. However, it is a standard pattern stock so is easily replaceable to anything you want.

Maybe.... First of all, this isn't available "new" from the shops for a few years now. You would have to purchase from the second hand market. Second, it is quit fiddly to disassemble, so unless you are comfort with that, it is a poor choice for a beginner.

@@jshtaylor considering i can still find it from 2nd market is what’s tempting me to get it in the first place because I can’t find high cal adapter for sks anywhere.

Kodiak defense made some bubba'd sks rifles that accept 7.62x39 AR mags. Don't think they are doing that anymore. Just focusing on their wk180 & wk181 designs now.

It is still in the black stock. I have all the old hardware though, so I can easily convert it back.

@@jshtaylor i think could be mine was first gen and the feed ramp below the chamber was removed when they remanufactered these sks,it seems some are lemons .you have a good one.
