v r not applying any type of graphics to get a perfect split and a rotation as u can see in movies. what she did is natural. At her age she's dng great. she's one of the great and finest teacher from kalakshetra. As her disciple i didnt find anything funny in this and if she had slipped just look at the floor... i've my limit to do the same. so why dnt u try a perfect split and a full spin in the air and upload it....

I mean i am 10 years old and i learn bharatanatyam and my teacher is kind of her same age and she does it perfectly and if i upload a video then my mom is gonna beat me for sure.... Valli with her glamorous abhinaya not the fine way to portray a storyline in Bharata Natyam but anyway she did learn from the Thanjavur Quartet Paramparai but lost the authentic tradition like most of the diva’s of mass produced Bharata Natyam who are on stage busy with themself then working hard to put a brilliant piece of Art! And then the boring design and styling of her costume.....dance especially authentic Bharata Natyam is hard work put some energy on stage then all those lazy sloppy dances!! Sweat sweat sweat then you will get an energetic piece on stage!

chari bhedas are not demonstrated as per Abhinaya darpana shloka.. it is misleading the students as they get confused as to what to follow. Thanks.

You shouldn't be doing that at any cost.. That just goes against the Shastra and Odissi is a Shastriya dance Classical dance not random dance!!

@@MissTia777 it is not a Random free dance.. Odissi is Odissi Bharatnatyam is bharatnatyam and Bellydance is bellydance.. For the sake of fusion anything and everything is not acceptable!! There are rules of Sashtriya Nritya.. that's why it is classical.. Or else it would have become Folk dance!! Please understand the facts!!
