Looks awesome Rolf. How many of those obstacles have ride - arounds? I am considering my 890R on that route but a few of those would be tough with the big lad and it looks like there are a few ride arounds possible when I look at the maps. Thanks in advance.

Awesome! Question- about your route. We’re doing a trip in about 10 days coming down the Laguna Hanson road and headed for Coyote Cals. I’m getting conflicted info on whether or not you can get through on the road that goes south from Ojos to Uruapan. Some say is closed, some say $5. Thanks man and loving the vids!!!
@rolf737 Жыл бұрын
There was a closed, locked gate that we had to pay a few bucks to get through. Guy came out of his house when we got to it (it's in the video). Felt like a big deal until we did the pesos to dollars conversion. I think we paid like $2 each.
@Kneetopia Жыл бұрын
Damn man that is wet and snowy. We rode that in 2017 in March and it was dry. Wet year though I guess. Which way did you go after you got to Ojos?

It was actually awesome! The mud had more sand in it than ours, so it was pretty rideable. Got really hot, dry and dusty as we got further south.

I enjoyed your video and how you used the map overlay with Dashware. I there any way you can send me some instructions on how to do that. I would love to video on my next trip to El Mirage. I know you gave Nick some instruction on what you did but if you can give me more information if possible or if and when you have time. I could give you my email with the info. Again, if you have the time and if you decide to do so. Thanks again Louie

Excellent Video... Well Done Sir! It was fun to see it through the eyes of a good rider. My dirt biking days are gone... over and done... and I still wish I still had my CRE 250 out on Kane Creek again. I've ridden it in nice weather, hot weather and cold weather.. Every time was a blast! My hands and feet were working right along with you. In my head I was once again on the trail, as I watched you select good lines and use good throttle control.

Yeah, parts of it are downright abusive! We tend to camp over on the other side of the park, so we haven't ridden it since this video. Need to do it again.

How can I put a map in video? In dashware I don't see how can I put the map. You have a tutorial?
@rolf7372 жыл бұрын
I haven't even used my own software in years. Since after I left GoPro in 2017... but what I used to do is take a GPX from that route and bring it into Google Earth. Make sure North is straight up, map is flat, then take a screenshot, bring that into DashWare and line it up behind the DashWare map.
