There is only a demand because the federal government is giving away tax money to make it possible. Look at electric vehicles. It was subsidized by tax payers money and yet we don't want them. This dude doesn't understand.

That solar development is devastating to our community and to the wildlife. It is taking federal tax money to fatten pockets. It destroys trees that turn CO2 to oxygen. If you care about sumter County, do not move forward. As a local Sumter County city, I will do my best with our community to fight this.

Sumter PD, dispatch and fire dept have a state of the art building. Sumter County EMS needs one as well

Our family is very discouraged at how people continually throw out garbage, it is like they have no pride in where we live. When they clean up beside the roads, it is BAD again in a short time. I think the schools should teach young people how important it is to use the garbage cans, to keep a garbage bag in the car, and try to change the mindsets of people who litter our area. Please STOP littering?
