Did you have to modify that guitar to use those strings and put them in that tuning? I remember pretty much ruining my old ESP trying to go bigger and lower than the guitar was clearly meant to go.
@STFXLMNS23 күн бұрын
It wasn’t really a problem on this guitar, although it’s far from perfect. The intonation, fret buzz and string tension will always be a compromise with this wide range of string sizes.

In this song, originally, in the studio recording, Wes plays a bass with a lot of distortion, and in the Woodstock live of 99 it is clearly seen and heard.
@DarkPlaysThings3 ай бұрын
It actually isn’t a bass, but a custom 4 string guitar with the E string tuned way down and the other three in C# standard

If you’re wondering why this song only uses 4 of the strings, it’s because this song was actually recorded on a 4 string tenor guitar. Wes still switches to a tenor for this song to this day.
@TheRealMattFromWiiSports9 ай бұрын
Ok you said tenor twice so that proves you don't know what you're talking about. It's a four string BARITONE. Also no one that hasnt read this or found out from another source would ever look a at a cover of a nu metal song and go "hey he's only using*x* amount of strings. And don't even say "I did" because you didn't over half the shit you said was wrong
