Even though he's the antagonist he's the key to the show. Any other character can be removed and it still works, but not Rimmer. Also Barrie is the most attractive dude on there, which helps.

Should've kept a montage of Craig's missed tee shots in the episode. Lister being horrible AT being horrible at golf would've be hilarious real time when I was a kid

I loved how in the Dwayne Dibbley scene he actually got less and less with each take, all the way to messing up before a full step out of the door...that's what I call method acting.

I wish the cast would come back together start where they left off, create episodes shot in the same exact setting, with the same exact cameras, in the same exact manor they did back then, no new sets nor equipment, as to give it the same look as the first episodes, also leave every bit of politics out of it and it would be a hit. Red Dwarf along with benny hill and are you being served are my favorite shows ever. I long for the stuff like that again.

I love how Robert Llewellyn stays in character when he makes mistakes. And Chris Barrie just goes with it and tries to make the outtake as entertaining as possible. Such a great show.

I'm so used to humorless twit Rimmer that when Chris flubs the lines and starts laughing and smiling it's quite funny to see. That show has been the source of many laughs and I'm thankful it has stood so well.

Reading that reminded me of when Craig had to hold up the script for Robert during "The Inquisitor", but they kept having to redo the scene as the script kept showing up on camera. Then they removed the line from the final episode anyway!
