Hi quick question! Looking to purchase this beautiful instrument - for recording did you use the built-in receiver or recorded with a microphone? Incredible performance btw, thank yoU!!!
@LakeSideSound16 күн бұрын
Thank you, I used the built-in pickups connected to a Sony UX560 recorder. This gives a clean sound signal without background noise. If you’d like to order a drum with the same scale as in this video, make sure you choose the A-minor drum from this link: en.kosmosky.com/shop/NW38-15A

My third day in a row coming here. I’ll be back.
@myarae84Ай бұрын
I discovered your recording in June ‘24 when the pain came back so badly. I wanted you to know tonight listening to your song gave me relief from the moment I heard it, and it also opened my eyes. Though I’d heard the original song before, there was something about this instrument, and the way you play it with your entire being, that finally got through to me. I’d been fighting so hard for so long I just didn’t see how much I was harming myself. There’s a line from a broadway musical that asks “What happens if the cut, the burn, the break. Was never in my brain, or in my blood, but in my soul?” That’s how your song hit me. Tonight I’m grieving a little as I look back on such a tough year, and the holidays ahead that are not so bright for many of us. And so as I return to listen to this song; I reminded that I am okay; I am at peace, and I am very grateful for the chance to learn the lesson. Your song reminds me of these things, and it gives me so much hope. May the incredible gifts you’ve transmitted to me somehow be returned to you again and again this life. If times are ever hard for you or you find yourself in doubt, know that somehow, through the ether and algorithms, you’ve reached at least one. Thank you. ❤

@@auralarchipelago thank you, I fixed the phone on a tripod, but you can also achieve a similar angle by just placing it in a coffee mug. Yes, I recorded the sound on a Sony UX560 recorder.
