Thank you for sharing. It appears that they updatred it without warning and the panel "Essential Graphics" is now gone and is just the "Properties" panel for the text. The "Style" section is now "Linked Style". They change things so fast that we don't have time to get accustomed some times before they change it again.

I am not quite sure I understand the question. Do you want to find all your current clipping masks in you project?

If I want to limit the size of the text box on each page, how do I do that? I have a document that has a left margin holding images corresponding to the text to its right. Thanks.

You could choose to use auto-size and only auto-size in height, that way the width of your frame will stay the same when it auto fits, go to object, text frame options, autosize (CTRL/CMD+B). Additionally you could turn off auto-fit and manually size your text frame, select a text frame with the selection tool and adjust the sizing. Hold shift to size proportionally. You can adjust or turn off auto sizing for your entire document by making sure nothing is selected (Edit > Deselect all) and then making the adjustments/turning off auto-fit. I would suggest creating a parent page (or multiple as needed) with the correct layout, add text frames to act as placeholders, and apply this parent page to your pages.

Instead of text, I am trying to make a png image drip. After I make the reach 0, click on the layer, and hit "U" no keyframe appears. Is there a different way to do this effect for a png image?

It is the same for PNG images, so you should see a keyframe IF you pressed the stopwatch in front of reach and did not just alter the reach number.

Exporting a single layer as a .ai file would mine you have an ai file with just that one layer. If you are looking for an easy way to do that I suggest making a new project/file and copying that specific layer in there and then save that project as a .ai file.

@@Deathzilluh It might be that your layer order isn't correct, the order of the layers is critical for clipping masks to work properly. Also, check your layer opacity settings, if the opacity is 0 it will not show. The object used as a clipping mask will always disappear, this is normal.

That is weird indeed. If you go to the window menu, then open the shapes window, and in the shapes window you can search at the top, when you search for legacy it doesn't show anything at all?

for me it only shows "linked styles" instread of just "styles" which is stoping me from being able to do anything

So, to get this right, you are working in the essential graphic view, you have selected the text from which you want to create a style under the edit option in the right hand side, and you do not see styles in the right hand menu with the option to add a style? Also, your premiere pro is up to date?

@@GraphdTutorials The same thing is showing for me. I think Linked style is now the same as style in the newest update. If you click the 4 square button to the right Linked styles, it will then open a My Styles window, which then you can click the "plus" sign to create a style.

It's a bit difficult to know what could be going wrong without seeing your layers. Have you dragged everything on top so the layers get separated? You might have to drag more than once, depending on how many sublayers you have and how many you want to separate.
