So I was looking at mine today thinking about removing the chain as well. I love the chain but would like to option to wear it without it. I'm going to have to figure out some small enough clips or something, but I do agree without vs with the chain.

I'm obsessed with these Marc Jacobs totes! <3 LOL I mean they are so cute, very high quality bags, great soft leather, the design is unique and they're easy to use, the colours they come in are super cute, too - what's not to like about them?? :D I have the medium black leather one that I got as my first official new designer bag, afterwards I got the small leather Argan Oil one, which I love for summer as well, it fits a ton of stuff although it's smaller than the medium. Then I got a small black canvas one as well, because I loved the material and it's more sporty/casual. But my latest obsession is this size and I want it in the (dusty) Rose colour. It's so pretty!!!! <3
