Truck will be used as a truck to tow things including my car however it will eventually be on a set of wides and be set up

Good luck on your build. Cant wait to see it up and runnin. I had alot of fun building my 2 Valve. Now that its all said and done the only thing i would do different is go with a Teksid or WAP block cause once i put the VMP on it it definitely added some weight to the front. Still is alot of fun though and fast.

Got it running back in October about and ran it for a while car sounds nasty check out our shorts I wanted to do a teskid block but things kinda just went farther than I originally expected. Unfortunately back in end of November I blew the transmission bad

@@bryce090892 yes 5.0 kmember from a 94-95 mustang and used foxbody engine mounts so it sat as low as possible

Well shit can't be at a welded diff lol. Even without a front drive line it's amazing it hung up so bad on that rock. But video never does it justice. I've been stuck in the damnedest spots too. The kind that get you scratching your head. I can clear 75 percent of the Rubicon in 2wd but get stuck on a slightly off camber practically flat spot, with packed snow under tire. Sitting there spinning all 4 not budging. Go figure. As long as your having fun rite.

Just in case y'all don't know already. If you lift a tire and that up tire just spins, so no locker, either set parking brake or use regular brake to stop the up tire from spinning. This will literally force the down tire to spin.if you can equalize, or at least get close to equal load on both rear tires, or front, even with an open diff it will force power to the tire with traction. Doesn't always get out of a stick, but it always helps if you can feel one tire just spinning free. Practice by putting one rear on ice or mud and the opposite rear on dry pavement, so that the one tire in the mud wants to just spin and then play with adding brake power to the axle and see what happens, you may be surprised, just a trick to help.

Phone cameras don't have good stabilization so that makes them less than ideal on the trail but the DJI Osmo Action 4 is a good action camera. Even the Action 3 is good. The Insta360 Ace Pro is also a good one. Some say it's the best available today.

@mikecapp315 I own multple rv parks in Colorado, Sturgis and tx. Also rent my.home in Colorado all year airbnb. I have little over 1k acres inhereted that's full of oil rigs. I have one pump that's been drawing at least 3k a month sense before I was born. I can make 3 to 5k a night during Sturgis not including the restaurant that just rented camps. My 1k acres is also leased to farmers for cows and I sell hay. I juat sold my trucking business had 4 dump trucks that ran in txu mines. I'm making about 50 to 60k a week. I also pit race for side fun I can bring in as much as 200k$ in a weekend from bets and winning 1st. Money grows on trees, You just gotta find the seeds.

Just because a vehicle is old or new doesn't mean it's better or worse at offroading. It's more about the tires and ground clearance than anything else. Obviously, a vehicle with offroad tires and a bit more clearance is gonna have an easier time than something on street tires and stock ride height.

@@TrumpAlwaysWins. lol. No, it wouldn't. I have a 22 grand cherokee that I've taken offroading a few times, and it's done GREAT. No. It's not gonna go where a lifted wrangler or something similar would go. But a bump isn't gonna set off the airbag.

@03lilstang I pieced it together I bought the SCT tuner, bought a straight pipe cut the elbow off the DPF and welded the pipe in and and used the SPE egr block off kit and bought a 100hp tune for it. I didn’t buy a whole kit cause it was cheaper for me to buy it that way and do it myself.

Great video, what is that you're working in, is that a trailer? I love the 4.6 I have a Lincoln town car with that engine has been so reliable. Was thinking of adding a turbo.

Yes it is an old trailer turned into storage work trailer. They are very reliable engines overall. Mine will eventually be procharged at some point
