Hello, I did try using my fingers only, but it didn't work for me. My hair got so tangle. I am now using wooden combs to comb my hair every other week. Great topic to cover. 🙂

Great advice. I am mostly type 3 and I also don't use combs for 4-6 months and then use a comb. One of those months I had MAJOR knots that were hard to get out because my hair is bleached, so the line of demarcation knotted up badly! But I did get it out and now I comb slightly more often. Maybe once every 3 months or so.

I'm a new subscriber. I'm enjoying your videos❤ I want to ask how do you recognise split ends on natural hair? I'm also stubborn with cutting "split ends" but I don't even know if I have them. I feel like my ends are normal and I might be wrong. I don't even remember recognising splits in my ends, ever😂 Maybe include this question on your next video 🙏
@sindisiwemazibuko6 күн бұрын
Welcome ❤️🤗. Thank you so much for. Will include the question on my upcoming video. But let’s me also answer for you. With split ends you will notes little rough or hair that are two having a thing like a knot 🪢. You can easily detect them by running your fingers through them. On the next video will insert clips to explain it further….❤️❤️

Honestly is the person doesn’t shampoo their hair in two months or more n their hair is not dry because of their moisturizing technique it works for them. For others they shampoo their hair once a month. I have seen people who shampoo their hair once a month also every 4 month n their hair is thick their hair is healthy n long their scalp is healthy. They use a lot of aloe vera n other Ayurvedic ingredients on their scalp n hair. So what is important? do what works for you. This is why it is important to monitor your scalp n hair. I get what you are saying about long periods between shampooing. I am a cosmetologist n a natural hair dresser. I have a degree in cosmetology from Aveda Institute New York🌻 Peace n love
