Hello, do you think this method would work with chunky yarn?
@cindyscrochetcorner16806 ай бұрын
I'm not sure but you could try! They may end up quite big though.

Just finished a grey one with a blush pink blanket…. So cute. I used the Bernat baby velvet instead of the Bernat baby blanket. Used white cotton for nose with a 3mm hook. I attached the head to the middle of the blanket….

You don’t use a stitch marker?
@cindyscrochetcorner1680 Жыл бұрын
I do not, I started crocheting 50 years ago when there weren't stitch markers, we just useda piece of yarn, which is what I continue to do.

Hello cindy, this is great! I just made one for my friend’s birthday. However I can see a small white heart. What is this for? How do you make it? Tnx. Dona (from Belgium)
@cindyscrochetcorner16802 жыл бұрын
Hello and Thank you! The little heart is there to mark the center of my camera view, to keep me from going off camera. I found the pattern for it on Pinterest. I can't remember who it is from, it has been so long. If you do a search, you should be able to find it. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed it. I have found that I like using premier basix chenille better than Bernat blanket yarn also!

This is so beautiful and I love that you start with the head and go into the body so that there's no sewing them together later. Thank you so much for your easy to follow tutorial.

To thread a yarn needle, it's easier to fold the end and put the fold through the eye of the needle. Also, your crochet hook end works to push in the stuffing rather than grabbing another tool. Great tutorial! Love this project!

New subbie. I Love these!! They would be great hanging off of one of my junk journals on a dangle, on the end of a pen or a pencil & they would also make wonderful little ROC. I belong to a FB group where we leave random acts of crocheted kindness everywhere. Do you mind if I share your pattern with this Facebook group, they already do the little worms except they do four stitches in each chain but I like the addition of the apple on it. Also shared this tutorial with other crochet friends 🧶🤗🐞🥰🧶

At the beginning of the tutorial, you had a basket weave swatch with two colors. I’m needing to learn how to alternate “squares” for a basket weave blanket. Can you please help me?
@cindyscrochetcorner16802 жыл бұрын
Hi Joni, sorry I just saw this comment. I currently do not have a tutorial for alternating square colors on the basket weave stitch but I will consider making one. I'm sure you have probably found out how by now but thanks for the question.
