Another good dig Paul. I see your using that 11” coil and getting really good depth..some nice finds. That point where the machine has no ID showing but still a little squeeker of a tone. Real good..stupid I know but I’ve had the Manticore for almost two years and I’m only just getting to grips with it..was almost at the point of getting another machine. But when it s deep it’s deep. hi Paul nice vid, not been watching any of your vids for a few moths because i have had the wife in hospital again from October till just before Christmas. I have been staying with her at the hospital, she was very,very ill with pneumonia again. but she is back home now and on the mend thank god. Hope you have a happy new year mate and all the best finds in metal detecting. Now i`ve got a few of your vids to watch, Don`t think i will be getting out just yet.

In theory you could get more depth with this coil in moderate black sand...due to less of an overload on processer..or not..thanks

I like your videos but it’s infuriating the number of times you keep sweeping over a target. Just dig it.

I recently got a manticore and it likes to find iron and gives a high pitch tone for iron too, i think everyone who has bought one was expecting 50% more depth which clearly it doesn't provide , and battery lasts 50% less in the field

I have a question for ya... Why do you search with such a slow motion but when you find/pinpoint the target you speed up two to three times faster and still hear it fine?🤨 Now If it was a 15"+ coil I could see slowing down but on my Equinox 900 with the stock coil I swing 2 to 3 times faster and still do not seem to be missing much... On a recent hunt I tested this out with running a 6" coil over an 1910 - 1920 farm house that I just found a couple of mercury dimes and the only target I found extra was a buffalo nickel that was surrounded by iron and did not even have a good number but I dug it anyway... Glad I did : ) BTW I swing the 6" even faster than the stock coil. Oh, and you are a true enthusiasts digging in all the muck 👍 ; )

20 is really sensitive on small hold and it goes deeper on small jewelry.

20 khz works best in gold mode on the beach tur multi off and run in single 20 khz

Paul thanks I’ve been using mine with the 9” coil gold and silver on my beaches lots of clad to. I weighed my D2 with the 9” coil and Manticore they both weigh 2.8lbs I dig those faint signals I also circle around the target

Thanks for the video Paul, Once more into the black stuff👍👍though the dry looked inviting too . Close in at my local beach there is a bed of ground up oyster shell in the black stuff which tests the scoop , my bad language and back lol.

Me i am still very happy with my 540 Pro Pck mine came in with the 12 and 8 inches coils and this summer the 10 imches was on special so i bought it !! I was wondering why do you like to hunt in thick, heavey and very cold and most humid environnement???
