Works well but one thing that happened for me is that I had to be in new game plus for the repeating mission page to show up. Otherwise it didn’t work

Honestly, that's what I do, although, you'll need an extra device in the chain, since the 4k Gamer Pro doesn't accept 1440p input signals, so you need a 1080p EDID Emulator. My chain goes: Nintendo Switch > mClassic > 1080p EDID Emualtor > 4k Gamer Pro > Monitor. That gives you better colour recreation, anti aliasing and a 4k resolution output.

It's an upscaler but doesn't sharpen the image, it's adds anti-aliasing, which softens jaggies, so it does make the image look better. It also has better colour recreation.

@@ASTIGINGTUBE Using VRR it can help, but since the PS5 version of VRR only works at 48fps or higher, it doesn't work at all times, I moved over to playing DD2 on my Xbox instead, as its version of VRR doesn't have a limit. Turning off Motion Blur and Ray Tracing helps too.

Also if possible can you do this uncapped? Like side by side with and without ray tracing (both motion blue disabled) I guess there isnt a big difference after the patch compared to launch. Atleast it feels like it.

Easily the hardest fight in the game for me when I played, it felt like the game was trying to screw me over. When you do learn how to counter and avoid hits, Its simply a fight of patience after that no other bosses were much of a problem for me!

I've still got my PS5 at the moment, but I've been playing my Switch and Series X more than my PS5, I only used my PS5 for FF7 Rebirth and then I got Dragon's Dogma 2 on it but quickly changed to playing that my Series X too for the better VRR. I'm gonna wait a little bit longer, see if there's anything else I want to play on my PS5.

Yep that's about right. I do like my higher framerates outside of the major capitals so I'll keep the 30fps cap disabled.

I was getting what felt like 10 when fighting the chimera in the waterfall dungeon in the North. Turned off raytracing and motion blur and it made such a difference to the frames. This game is terribly optimized.

I've been playing it mainly on my Series X, because of the better VRR implementation, setting the system to 120fps with VRR, smooths it out a lot, there's still some sketchy parts, mainly in towns, but makes it a better experience. No idea why PS5 VRR only works above 48fps.

@@XiphosGaming They are following the HDMI standard which states 48-120Hz as the VRR range. It's stupid but Sony just really adheres to those standards because they are also in that same line of business with TVs etc...
