No one removes the bed . They remove the tank underneath . U truck no gooy now .

I have a 2014 ford f150 king cab I did not see fuel pump im bed of truck i just saw the fill. Up hose green part to tank ca it bw in the Back seet

Hey hello David, what a good question, take a look under the back seat, or even take a look under the truck around the back doors and see if you can see the tank. The location depends on what kind of cabin you got.

Well, it’s a good question dear viewer. The best way to know that is if you take a look under the bed. Go to the driver side in the rear wheel and use a lamp to see if you can see the tank, if you can see it then you can use this method.

I think I will try this. My 2004 F150 is only worth $2000 blue book value. A fuel pump replacement is $1000 at a shop.

Good question. If you go to the top of the bed you can see four bolts in every corner so what I did was take a look under the bed to see if we have enough room to make the hole.

Will nor work for a 2001 Ford F150. The dimensions for cutting the hole are off. The bed should be cut directly to the back of the cab (no 2-3/4" gap). Also the is a large part of the bed frame that is directly over the pump in the tank. Cutting torch can't help, too close to the gas tank.

Do I NEED to empty the old coolant? I saw another video, and the guy said you have to drain it then “bleed” it when putting more coolant back in. It wouldn’t be a problem if I simply swapped the tank, and filled it with more coolant right

Hi, thanks for share your question with me. Well it’s up to you. If your coolant is still young you can use the same one only you have to refill the reservoir tank. Remember the coolant is for 10 years. Make a quick test, take a little coolant from your radiator and put it into a cup then leave it in the freezer all night if does not get freeze for sure you can still using the same coolant. If not you have to change the coolant.

Question please...can you help me?? My husband owns a 2015 Ford focus. The coolant reservoir cap broke so he bought a new one, but while changing it the little hose in the front on the left the clip broke. Does it have a name so I can look it up to purchase. Please and thank you.

You know what I forgot to tell you my truck is a four door but my rear doors are li 1/3 of the size of the driver and passenger doors are I guess that maybe a problem eh?

Would those measurements be the same for a 2007 F150 4.2l two wheel drive? I always wanted to make a door with a cutting wheel but was always scared of going two deep but what you showed there’s lots of room! Very good video!

My thin vacuum hose split one day when I was moving it to get to something else.. I patched it up thickly with some silicon sealant tape that auto zone recommended. Thankfully I was parked right outside of the store when it happened. Car has ran fine for a few months and now it's leaking coolant every few days below minimum. How do I replace the thin hose running from the tank to the engine? I'm going to replace the tank as well using this video's instructions. Ty!

Hello thanks for comment this video. If you are going to replace the tank and the thin hose. Get both pieces on amazon or ebay. Autozone sell parts in expensive prices. The thin line is easy. After you remove the plug from the tank go and follow it until the end close to the engine. There is a hose clamp only what you have to do is press the clamp and pull it back and there is. With the clamp out just pull the hose out and install the new one. If you need something else please let me know. 👍

YAy !! Did and refilled it with universal coolant . Took it for a spin and levl stayed good . I'll keep checking it . Some say use spicific coolant but for now use universal .

Yeah have small slow leak which I think I've found where . A lil wet spot at that thin line coming from reservoir tank . .. 2016 Focus SE . Yeah American 2.0L . So replace what exactly ? Both tank and line ? And just below looks like water stained on motor mount .

Replace the reservoir tank. You can get it on amazon for 25 bucks. And replace both lines. You can get them on ebay for 15 bucks. Sometimes when you have a leak on the tank the pressure is higher than normal and maybe that’s why your lines are broke.

Yeah just make sure this is the extended cab 4.6 v8. Go to the rear wheel (driver side) under the bed and use your camera to see the tank with the lines.
