Hello Rich I'm from Covington Kentucky directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati Ohio I have one also and run the speaker out through an EV SRO15B sometimes two of them at 16ohms . That little amp sounds a lot bigger than it looks running through a 12 or 15 inch speaker but the 8 in the amp sounds a little too thin and will soon put a Warehouse or Celestion in it, though it's almost perfect for recording. I mike it with an sm57 and a Rode NT-1 rather than use the emulated speaker out. After 6 years of daily use the preamp tube finally quit. Best of luck brother.

had my fingers burnt selling on ebay, they broke the guitar and then said it was broke when it arrived and wanted full refund, tried reverb not got anywhere, facebook people seem to want stuff mega cheap or for free and getting a decent price trading a guitar or amp in is impossible these days, think of what you expect and then halve it, the problem is i just can't do it so end up with guitars i'm not playing but can't sell, what do i do?

That’s a tough one. I’ve fingers burnt on eBay too but vs the number of sales the ratio is small. It’s a sorry state but eBay is the best way. I video myself packaging guitars now as evidence to help with claims. No fool proof but not much you can do. Say eBay is the best of shit bunch. You could try joing FB communities for certain guitars. I’ve sold 4 Chapmans through the chapman group

Great advice....have been selling guitars on ebay for 20 years and pack them up just like you do.....However ebay doesn't protect sellers at all...I have vintage guitar I sold at a fair price that worked perfectly when it was tested prior to listing. The buyer complained about several things and said it didn't work. Took it to a Luthier who said electrics were rusty/ corroded and jack socket loose....want me to pay £100 plus decks time to fix it...I have replied to his messages saying I am happy to refund him if he sends it back...He just keeps saying he wants to keep it and for me to pay for repairs....I know he just wants to pay less and is trying it on, As I took photos of the electrics which I sent him, as proof. I keep saying I don't issue partial refunds and he should just send it back for a refund....which he doesn't want to do and said he will have to open a case through ebay if we cant come to some agreement, It is a shame as this is the first time in all my guitar selling on ebay Internationally and here in the UK I've had someone dishonest. As it is I only made £5 on the guitar so don't want to loose over £100 to a scammer.

For packaging, it's worth looking into some stuff called "T Bord Floor Protection" - it's relatively cheap and what builders put down to protect floors from impact damage. It's only a couple of mm thick and cheap enough to line the box with. Also any excess you can roll up and use as support for the top/bottom and sides as much better than bubble wrap for the outer 'shell'.

Brilliant amp and very simple to use but no effects loop or built in reverb, and i have paid the price of your amp in upgrades but its a keeper now. Great advice Rich. On the flip ide I saw a MIM standard strat (Ebay) that had dodgy/fuzzy pictures but when I did zoom in I could barely see it had hipshot locking tuners and a Gilmour switch. It had a couple of very minor scratches, checked the seller feedback and that was good. I put in a bid at the start price and low and behold won it for that price. I'd taken a punt ... anyway guitar turns up two days later well wrapped and inside a good quality hard case (this had not been listed). So guess the seller didn't take care to list it correctly and I got a damn good guitar at a really good price along with those extra goodies.
