@@turjadWhat I've learned from drawing that it might take years for a masterpiece to complete. No matter what art you practice and produce, you have to take your time for it. In my case, work is only done when the tears of pride roll down my face. I assume that's your goal too.

@@Ominous89 What I like the most is when I have the impression that the work decides for me. A feeling you've pointed out the obvious... but that doesn't always happen. Paul valéry (a French poet) said "there is no finished work of art. there are only abandoned works". I think I understand what he meant now. This feeling of no longer having anything to add to a work.

@@MultiHammered1 ha? about the setup ? it's volca bass and volca keys pluged to a KaossPad2 (as effect processor for delay) via a Berhinger MX400. the Volcas are leaded by midi with a sequencer (from my Korg M50, but it could have been another sequencer from MPC or computer...)

Honestly, I wouldn't be able to remember. At the time I didn't yet have the MPC (akai) or volca sample, so I either used samples from various packs and/or the drums from my old Korg M50 (which has an impressive number of breakbeat). Also, I do a lot of polyrhythms by overdubing several drum tracks to obtain new rhythms from comercials sample pack... (in reality... the drum tracks of my songs have always been a problem for me, and I never felt like I had solved it ...)

nope... only instrumental... but some track have synthesis sounds made from voice passed through filters and envelopes and there is some sample of voice in rythmic applications.
