The beginning feels like walking for a long time then finally able to sit and open a book, and suddenly all the words in thousands of color hug you. This is comforting and amazing!

This is my first time hearing your music, and this piece although unfished, was already amazing, put me in a peaceful place for sure. I'm sorry to hear that things in life are troubling you and for whatever you are going through, I hope things get easier. :) and I hope your music reaches the ears you want it to, I know it has definitely reached mine.

It kinda slaps when you dance this with the figures from in Pinoy Centrism and the default Figures and some beautiful choreography that will somehow match the mood of this version of Cariñosa

am I stupid for knowing this from Steampianist's "Ang Cariñosa"?
@nikolaevnaromanovPCC4 ай бұрын
Not at all! The traditional Cariñosa is usually only known within the Philippines and doesn't have as much exposure abroad as we would've liked. And even then, Filipino kids living in the country itself nowadays don't know about it unless it's taught in their Music classes (which I'm pretty sure they still do, considering how big of a deal it was when connected to the music culture of our Colonial and Post-Colonial past). So to see Steampianist making a cover of it-with lyrics and a plot to match its usual meaning!-was honestly a proud moment for us who know of the original song and how much we're trying to preserve stuff like this. Whether the listener is Filipino themselves or someone not from the country, we still hope it gets them interested in at least listening to some of our other popular folk songs, too! <3
