I Have been suffering severe asthma for 2 years. I have tried two types of Biologics: Nucala, Fasenra. Neither provide relief.The results of FeNO breath test were off the charts despite of being on Nucala for over 8 months. They switched me to Fasenra, another biologic, but with no improvement. I am off and on Prednisone to suppress my eosphinol levels. Frustrating/

Hi @storeymark !! It is disheartening to see that you are struggling with Asthma despite best of treatment... Sometimes simple measures and precautions such as allergen avoidance, Right inhaler and Right dosage and Duration , Risk Factor Modification can help !! I would like to ensure you are compliant with inhaled drugs!! Do not lose hope !! Newer Biologicals that block TSLP and other novel treatments are coming up in the field of asthma..Discuss with your doctor to enroll you in a clinical research programme which may be of help!! Best Wishes

My CT says : IMPRESSION: 1. No acute pulmonary embolism to the segmental level. 2. Patchy bilateral lower lobe and posterior upper lobe opacities may partially reflect atelectasis given dependent involvement, but may represent superimposed mosaic attenuation related to small airways disease. Clinical correlation is recommended. There are patchy ground glass opacities in bilateral lower lobes and posterior upper lobes. What could be the problem? Thank You Doctor

Mam.. I had 18 month of att for my drug sensitive spine tb.. After mri my doctor suggested continuing it for next 6 month along with linozolid for 6 weeks due to residual lesion in spine.. But there is gap of 15 days after 18 months of att treatment as mri process in aiims took this much time..i am afraid.. Will it cause resistance??? Should i take lenozolid.. As it is used in resistance.. I would become resistant to it in future

Please do not self medicate and add any other drug … addition of single drug to any failing / ongoing treatment is discouraged … u may discuss your concern with treating doctor … if resistant TB is considered a repeat culture should be sought , however given the difficulty of sample collection in spine , it is a complex decision
