I was drafted in 1970. Ended up as an infantryman with the 101st airborne division, 1/502 infantry, infantry regiment. I had a seventh grade education because we lived on a farm and it was just too much to be tracked every day 31 mile round-trip to school so I taught myself and when I went into the army, I took the GED and passed it on the first try. I really enjoyed being a grunt! I was always out front and very aggressive. I studied our tactics as well as those of our enemy. We did not know that these bastards were underground and have made a complete underground city that Went miles! They would suddenly appear out of nowhere in great numbers, and we would fight like hell, and suddenly they would disappear into thin air! Of course, now we know they had manholes they dove into. While I was in country, I received a telegram from the American red Cross. Notifying me that there had been a fire and my parents and my Brother had perished. Well, that left me against the world. ! I have nowhere to go home too! I guess the army is going to be my home. I had distant relatives, but they all lived in the south and alcohol was a big problem for them as well. I never touched it I ReUp for a second tour back-to-back and received a $3000 reenlistment bonus that was equivalent to about one year of pay for an E-4. I was given a one week R&R break to unwind. The army had 5 places we could choose from : The Philippines, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Australia, and if you were married and we’re going to meet your wife there, you could go to Hawaii and stay on base in a free cottage for one week. I chose Hong Kong. I’m glad I did. That was an incredible experience. They had a bunch of Pan American DC-8 ‘s leaving once a week from DaNang. When I came back, I was absolutely stunned to find out eight of my squad. Members had been killed in an ambush while I was gone! That was during operation lam San 719. KMy mortar man was from Dona paws New Mexico and we were going to meet after he got home. He took a $100 bill and tore it in half and give me half ! We were going to meet up in Los Angeles and tape that hundred dollar bill back together and spend it! Just like that he’s gone! No fucking clue why. But that was Vietnam no rhyme or reason just complete insanity you might be sent out to patrol a hill or a mountain! You make contact and fight like hell for two or three hours, and then they suddenly disappeared. When I went to Da Nang to process for my flight to Hong Kong, I saw how the Air Force lived! Disgusting! Those bastards never had to do a days work they had permanent buildings they lived in. They had Coke machines they drove around in jeeps. The Air Force does not fight on the ground like the army, and the marines people need to understand every branch of the service has their mission. The Air Force is fighting from the sky, and their mission is air combat, and the jobs of those people are either clerical, technical or strapped into a F-4 Super Phantom. Today I see the Air Force is advertising that they are now boots on the ground hand to hand with the enemy. Well that’s bullshit unless they have really changed . 10 months into my second tour, I was reassigned and attached to Alpha Company, 75th Ranger Regiment. They had lost so many men they were looking for infantry troops with at least one year of hard combat experience. We were not Rangers, but we worked alongside them and went on patrol. I was doing perimeter duty with a few other people we had perimeter duty all night because that’s the time the sappers would break through the line and run around, killing everything they could find. Firing into barracks, firing into the tents. Although we had three levels of Claymore, mines Frags and three enormous, there were years of Constantina wire they would still get through just by doing like a dog and digging underneath everything you put down there to keep them out. One night while I was on perimeter duty, three of them managed to breach all of this security, and they had it for the barracks where the pilots were sleeping. That was one hell of a fight. All three of these gooks were killed instantly! one of them by me. They had satchel charges and other explosions they had intended on, throwing into the Barricks and killing everyone inside. 50 years later, I receive a letter from Senator John McCain, telling me that I had been awarded the distinguished service cross for action that night, and a couple of other metals, including the combat infantryman‘s badge. I called and asked the liaison in his office. What gives? He told me that the records department in St. Louis and recently located several boxes of records from Vietnam. There had been a massive fire in the records department and I guess at the time of the fire they were just throwing documents in boxes, fireproof boxes and bringing them out. 50 years! I reported to the Arizona national guard Armory as requested, and Major General Kaling presented my awards.

While approaching mafb for the first time at 2am in a box truck in dead of night no more than 2500 feet from the entrance to the base two black orbs crossed my path,the road i was traveling on.This i found out later was my spirit guide warning me of danger or impending doom.See military bases prisons and jails are very very very unholy places.I was being warned by the spirit realm.Thats how serious this message for me was.I survived but had a hightened feeling of impending doom but i came out safe and that day is clear in my mind years later.What i saw was so real.My feelings of dread were real also.When i got home after work is when i did a search for black orbs and what i saw was 2 of them crossing my path at high speed but in tandem side by side.Thatis how i found out what i saw and sensed that evening were real.
