I just did some trees in watercolor today and tried using a flat brush and held it on it's skinny edge. Loved the look. I love playing around and trying things like you did. Thanks.

It doesn’t matter if the colour mix and spread one into the other in water colours. I actually liked the first tree and how the trunk and the shadow of the tree touched each other.

Oh, I really like the fan brush tree!! And I actually really like it when the stem or trunks of plants, trees, flowers, etc., bleed into the other main parts it looks a lot more organic :-)🎄🌲❤️😊

Definitely agree…Arrtx and Ohuhu products are really great. Arrtx also make fab coloured pencils ….gorgeous, creamy lay down and very similar to Prismacolor…..but nowhere near as expensive as Prismacolors ! The best ever white fine tip marker pen is by Artistro which is probably the best white you will find in a pen form. Have you heard of Karin acrylic markers ? They are made in Poland……and when you win the lottery, ( yes…they are expensive but fab)….you definitely have to try them🤩….they go down onto the paper like silk. I’m always amazed at how they turn out! It seems like you’re just breezing along, except for the fact that you explained that it can be difficult… But you just flow right along and end up with a piece that has depth and a lot of character! I really like it when you use the acrylic on top at the end :-)
