I love how free you are. Your innate talent really shines. Beautiful work! ☺

I’ve been following you for several months, thanks for sharing your talent , I’m so frustrated with acrylic markers, you seem to just grab one and draw, mine are never ready to use, I click tight the lid but they are dry and need to be manipulated to get going. I’ve tried different brands and Aroic is one I’m using right now. So many strokes to cover an area that one watercolor stroke would do. I end up using WC to do the coloring part. Only bc the markers don’t flow like yours. I’m 80 and have been doing some form of art most off my life, you inspired me to do a page a day, thanks I’m having fun.

I'm glad, the algorithm brought me here. I'm very interested in arsemic writing but somehow I'm not able to do it. No matter how much I try, even a blind person could still read what I wrote. I don't know if I just need more practice or if I have a strange barrier in my head that still lets me write comprehensibly. Which would be pretty weird because my normal handwriting isn't exactly the best😄 Or maybe I'm just too stupid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is hard to not write real words!! Have you tried using your non dominant hand to do asemic writing? Let me know if that helps!!

New subscriber here. I am just starting out on my drawing/painting journey after believing all my life (I'm 54 now) that I had absolutely no talent...but wishing I could draw/paint/create things that I liked. My dream is to be able to do something that I really like, put it up on my wall, and it makes me happy whenever I see it. I've been combing through KZbin videos looking for just a few teachers whose teaching style I could vibe with, that made sense to me, and I am very glad that I stumbled upon your videos. I am extremely intrigued by your approach, and a lot of it resonated with me. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos, and trying your suggestions. Thank you so much for sharing your art world with all of us.

awww so nice that you are making your studio follower friendly for your cats…🐈⬛🐾🐾 Your plants are looking so happy and your thrift store pieces are a great find and useful in your studio. liking your restoration on the black baskets. Last Friday I bought an 1950’s 75yr old formica dining table in excellent condition with an extension leaf, it took 2 of us an hour to clean it thoroughly. I love its beautiful lemon colour with a 2 inch wide black formica band around the whole table. The lemon black and chrome are a great combination of colours. that was my thrift store purchase. Sooo happy.. Thank you for sharing your space Krista 🐾🐾❤

That lemon table sounds gorgeous. There is something special about finding a vintage item and using it in your home. I feel like older pieces of furniture have more character and tell a story!! ❤

I love your thrift store finds. And your art studio is beautiful and cozy. Your grandparents items are very interesting. I love to see and have vintage pieces. Most of my furniture is from antique stores. The pets are so adorable and not shy at all. ❤

Hello! 💖your work. I've purchased a box of arrtx but feel my strathmore mixed media paper is sucking the markers dry. What paper do you prefer & do you store your acrylic markers horizontally? Thank you
@KristaIreneArt2 күн бұрын
I usually use my markers on regular sketch paper simply because it is all practice. I find regular sketch paper does not soak up all the ink or paint. I store my markers upright with the tops facing down. I hope that helps!!
