Good for you!! I’m glad you eventually trusted your intuition & quit that toxic job. I worked in sales too & quit after 6 months…then 3 months after that, the company laid off 1,800 workers. That’s unfortunate for them, but I’m glad I got out when I did.🙌🏾

I’ve been in sales for 3 weeks and it’s been the most challenging time of my life. Mentally I’m being pushed to be more confident, to go for what I want, to be fearless in my approach and to not have fear of rejection but I don’t really love the idea of spending all of my mental energy everyday trying to push someone to purchase something that may not need 😭

Equinox is worth it if you take classes (HIIT, yoga, etc) along with doing your own thing. Doing yoga, HIIT and a gym would cost +$500 separately so going Equinox would be "cheap." Another major plus is that Equinox has the kind of equipment you don't find in other gyms such as TRX, assault bikes, Versa climber and tons of kettlebells. If you just go and lift and run on the treadmill then Equinox would be a waste of money. NYSC I would NOT recommend. It is a real pain to cancel. I was a member with them twice and when I went to cancel in person I was kept there for an hour or so in trying to drag things out and then I was informed that the manager is not around and to return another day. Absolute bullshit. Also when I was a member 2006 to 2015 there was no annual fee. I left in 2015 as NYSC started to compete with Blink and Planet Fitness and doing so there was a flood of low quality people joining. Also the implementation of the annual fee was for the purpose of not raising prices but that is another total lie. After a while both of these fees went way up. During rain storms many NYSC gyms are flooded with water and it is a total mess. One more thing you must be very careful about NYSC. There were many instances where the locker rooms were broken into and stuff were stolen. So carry your wallet with you and if you have a laptop hopefully you can keep it at the office/home and not bring it with you. If you are still looking maybe take a look at CompleteBody? They have like four branches in NYC and it is very up to par. A while ago they purchased the Limelight branch gym which used to be David Barton. Just too bad now that branch is closed because of Covid.

You are a free man and you are regretting that? We can’t experience everything other people experience. In regards to work you should just get a van, do it up a bit so you can live in it and travel the world whilst YouTubing it. The amount of people that watch stuff like that is unreal. Don’t get yourself stuck in the system the rest of us are. Money comes and goes but time just goes.
@colinmcgraw6 ай бұрын
I think I love the van idea in theory, but in real life would hate it haha
@GuestGuest-x6w6 ай бұрын
I don’t think not having a relationship is a regret since one can not have it because everyone else around has it. Most likely you didn’t yet meet that one special to invest your time. I think once a person sees someone they know she is the one or he is the one. People are human beings not stuff to try it on every time and see if it fits or not. May be I’m old school. There is a part of someone somewhere, the real part, someday you may meet and before that just try to make yourself a better person and make this world a better place to live in unless you want to have a relationship for some benefit - living together with no marriage just trying if it fits or not like trying shoes, marry for the sake of marriage since everyone else does for whatever reasons - her/his wealthy parents, money, career and then tolerate and divorce or suffer for the rest of life and cheat or tolerate cheating since you have already kids or divorce is expensive or for the sake of preserving a face. I don’t think it has to be a regret not having a relationship in your 20s unless for above reasons. Life is ahead and it can be at any age and it’s in God’s/Universe hands when to send you the other half.

I was the complete opposite in my 20s. I've been with my wife since I was 21, and the last time I moved was 20 years ago. So, I was surprised that we would have any regrets in common, but I'm right there with you on the last three. It just goes to show that if two people can have completely opposite lifestyles and still regret the same things then regret is futile.

im 26 almost 27 i wish i was as chill and relaxed about it as you are but im suicidal about this same thing everyday i feel like the self guilt is too much to handle and im not humble enough to accept my reality or status i feel so inferior to everyone around me, every wrinkle that shows up in my face or every couple of hair that has fallen is a reminder that im getting old and in every market (love, job, social) im losing value, i can hear my biological clock ticking over and over again, im too dumb to learn lessons, ive struggled to quit bad habits, im too indecisive to choose a life path and panic eveyday, i get triggered easily, every routine feels like a cage , i struggle to fit in society i feel antisocial, im alienated, Ive just withdrawn from a very good opportunity because of my panic attacks and now everyone around me is disappointed and fed up with my self sabotage and indecisiveness, i dont know how to fix everything it seems impossible to achieve before 30

Appreciate you sharing. I know I can't give proper advice for your situation; all I can do is share my story. I'll say one thing that I haven't talked too much on my channel - I went to a therapist for a few sessions. Never thought I would. Never thought I needed it. But it was amazing the perspective I gained in a few sessions. And it changed my view on therapy. I'd recommend it to anyone!
@GuestGuest-x6w6 ай бұрын
Therapy is a good start or just talking to shrink openly. My perspective is there is no goal in life since everything is a process and the process is a goal actually. And it’s very important, I believe, who I’m in that very process as a person as a human being but not how much I have in funds or what my social or professional status is. Though I’m not religious but still I believe we are coming into this world one way but leave in different ways. And when we leave we can not take funds or status with us since what matters over there is if you are a Human. Have you Being Human? And that will be the question. Not everyone is highly accomplished in a rat race but doing no harm is already quite an accomplishment since there are many temptations in this life and to resist them one has to work hard on it by bringing up him/herself and it’s a process that never ends.
