Ang nostalgic ng Cinestill! Kakalabas lang ng Kodak Vision filmstock nung nag start ako mag trabaho. We had to choose kung ilang rolls of 500T and ilan ng 250D to complete a project. Pag nagkamali ka ng estimate ng footage para sa mga eksena, yari ka. Then lumabas yung Fuji Reala that could handle both Tungsten and Daylight na. May compromises lang sa color and grain structure. Iba talaga ang mindfulness and romance ng film grabe. Mabusisi pero ang ganda ng images mo, bro! Na GAS ako sa Mamiya!

$400 for the plug-in? I just use DaVinci resolve's own luts Rec709 Kodak 2383 D55. Have you compare those two luts?

Yes it's a bit too expensive. Davinci's own luts and 2383 will do just fine but with a little more work. I think the bulk of what you pay for goes to the halation, bloom, grains and film stock emulations like the vision3, fuji, ilford etc. The film emulations are good and comparable to the actual stocks.

Would you prefer the video of XS20 over XT3? Is IBIS really that good?

I would but not because of IBIS-the image quality and formats are superior. IBIS is alright and it works when I need it to but I won't rely on it completely. I"ll still do my best to keep my shot steady. On the other hand, the xt3 feels better on the hands. It's more inspiring to hold and use in day to day stuff.

Camera profiles are off. I'm always at 800 iso for maximum dynamic range. Also always on cine dng 12bit.

@jwhs i bought an old tripod in japan. It's janky and flimsy, but it's really compact. It extends like how umbrellas would. Bought it for $10.
