The problem is the portal, I feel UTSA went for players that are left over. I mean they are in the portal for a reason 1. They are extremely good and they get picked up by big NIL money, or 2. they are not good and didn't play well on previous team or had issues, they wanted out and those were possibly sone UTSA picked up. Coach is better starting freshmen players. Please coach your team is lacking discipline, fix it and mentor them to follow standards, ethics expectations, or sit them out. We can't have 14 penalties, maybe 2-3 but 14, tjis is not the UTSA recruit or players I've seen in the past, most played clean and smart.

I dont think the score tells the story for UTSA, thought they fought hard and well but were just too far outmatched. UT has infinitely more purchasing power, its the flagship school.
