JELUPLAST - THE bioplastic

JELUPLAST® ist ein umweltfreundlicher Biokunststoff aus Holzfasern und lebensmittelechtem Kunststoff. Er zählt zu den Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) und kann im Spritzguss, in der Extrusion oder mit Presstechnik weiterverarbeitet werden. Der Biokunststoff ist ein Produkt des mittelständischen Familienunternehmens JELU-WERK, das WPC-Granulate auf der Basis von TPS, PLA, PE und PP herstellt. Je nach verwendetem Kunststoff sind die Endprodukte der Compounds besonders wetterfest oder zu 100 % kompostierbar.

JELUPLAST® is an environmentally friendly bioplastic made from wood fibres and food-safe plastic. It is a wood plastic composite (WPC) and can be processed by injection moulding, extrusion or compression moulding. This bioplastic is produced by JELU-WERK, a medium-sized, family-run business that manufactures WPC granulates based on TPS, PLA, PE and PP. Depending on the plastic used, the end products of the compounds may be particularly weather-resistant or 100% compostable.

this is not a bioplastic but a plastic composite, please make a real bioplastic next time

I think with PLA as mentioned at the end it's a bioplastic

Surely it is a composite and they don't produce bioplastic. They buy plastics and make composits. PLA and TPS are bioplastics. but they also use PE and PP which are petroleum-based. Although research has been going on to make them from boi-sources; still not commercially produced anywhere from bio-materials.

Yes, and be more specific in describing your product. You can't call it bioplastic if you also make the composite with PE..
