It's also handy to create debug-outputs so that you can see what's going on if you're debugging behaviour - the same as you would if you were writing regular-old code with print statements to debug. Lots of good ideas to explore in this space of debugging Alteryx.

Brilliant video, I’ve been hunting myself and now have a process that works! I’ve just started using Alteryx and whilst I understand SQL and macro logic it’s been challenging to figure out the nuances of Alteryx.

Great video! Question: I have a dxp that loads tons of data (around 10 million rows or so). This video helps in loading the analyst on my desktop by changing the cache settings in the information link. My question is. If I want to make changes in the data canvas after opening (creating a join, adding a calculated column, etc) will the data automatically be reloaded or will those changes I made take place based on the cached data from the info link?

The way it was explained, bounced over the head, since it was just explained on existing workflow, hence the demo was useless. Please start from scratch.

Thanks for the info Julie. I'm trying to do something similar where I create one set of reports (Preliminary) with one radio button and a second set of reports (Final) with the second radio button. But what I'm running into is an issue where If I pick Preliminary, the container generating the preliminary reports works just fine. But if I pick the radio button for Final, both the Preliminary Container and Final Container run generating both sets of reports and thus taking twice as long to run. I've set up the two radio buttons just like the two in your video and the post on the Analytics Corner. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong with the setup?
