Although our meat grinder is designed for commercial foodservice environments and we do not recommend grinding bones, many buyers have reported using our meat grinder for that application and have processed dog food with great success. If you want to process bones, it would be a good idea to purchase some grinder plates with larger holes and progressively change the grinder plate to smaller holes as you pass the meat through multiple times to lower the risk of damage or overloading.

Hello, Thank you for your interest in our product. Please BE CAREFUL!! The blades of the meat cutter are EXTREMELY SHARP. USING GLOVES with cut resistant surface or lining is STRONGLY recommended while cleaning or handling. To clean the machine, first you must make sure that the machine is unplugged and the meat cutter head has been removed from the motor. We typically recommend disassembling the outer housing of the cutter and then using a high pressure, hot water, hose to rinse out the blades. Also, hot soapy water with a soft bristle brush that you can fit between the blades works very well to remove any food pieces remaining. Expect to lose some bristles from the brush you are using as the cutter may pull and slice through them. Be careful to check to make sure that no bristles remain inside the blades during reassembly. Rinse further if necessary. You can also fully disassemble the cutter frame and remove the blade assemblies to soak in a quat solution for sanitizing. Make sure, before storage, that everything has been fully air dried and we recommend spraying some cooking oil onto the blades in preparation for storage.
