Yes, I have begun a combat tracker of sorts but am waiting for 0.9 before going too far down that track. I haven't played DC20 and don't know any groups - still trying to wrap my head around the way things are done in it and don't have the time at the moment. My mum's family hail from Penrith and the Blue Mountains, so I have a bit of familiarity with western Sydney. Cheers

This just keeps getting better!!! Seeing a weird thing though, I've made a Beastborn Monk, and it appears to be adding the Ancestry feature Thick-Skinned (+1 PD) Twice to my PD.

Just used this and this was incredibly useful for someone like me who just recently started to get into ttrpgs and was uncertain whether I was getting everything right for my character sheet. This is wonderful work you are doing and I hope you keep making updates to this sheet as I think this will be great for beginners like me.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I tend to learn game systems by making spreadsheets for them, so people who are not familiar with DC20 are the exact audience! Hi, thanks for the hard work. I made a Copie of your sheet so i can fill it. But am not able to create a background prompt. i get this error "Bei der Auswertung von „XLOOKUP“ wurde der Wert „Whittled Stick (Pick)“ nicht gefunden." wich means XLOOKUP did not find value „Whittled Stick (Pick)“ I think the background idea is very good, an i would like to use it

Thanks a lot for doing this! I was trying to use it with my party, yesterday we had our first DC20 session, however I wasn't able to print the character sheet. Is there a way to do it? I tried pushing the select sheet button, it ask for some permissions, but even if I grant them nothing happens. What am I missing? Thanks a lot!

There are too many printing options to macro, so Select Sheet only does that - select the sheet. Then go to File, Print, change to Selected Cells and landscape and you should be able to print from there. For the second page, you will need to manually select the page and do the same thing.

A couple of feedback since I am trying ir right now: the computation for rest point should be level+MAX(might,0) (see page 86 in the beta v8.0), otherwise you can have negative rest points at low levels with negative might. I think you should review the formula for the computation of PDR and MDR as they both currently includes combat_nastery (they shouldn't I guess??). Thanks a lot for the sheets, they are brilliant!

Thank you for your effort. I was using your previous version and found one issue that was already commented on (the fighter technique from the class feature). The sheet is really helpful for diving into DC20 as i might have missed, miscalculated or just forgotten some stuff as it is a new system. Thank you for updating so fast!

Really clean, great job I noticed the beast born traits are missing their descriptions. and it seems like the unarmored physical defense for monk is not calculating thick skinned trait (it does work when I switch back to light armor)

@@orbandcrown the lookup table seemed to work without issue when I added them myself (had to shorten most of the descriptions from the book so they fit nice.)

@@GingerSteave Yes, that's all I will be doing. In fact, I am going to add a customization sheet so people can use the provided descriptions or their own. I have found and fixed the monk issue you mentioned, too. Same link but make another copy to test it.

@@orbandcrown thanks works great, thick skinned works now. unfortunately it looks like natural armor and hard shell are not working at all. Shields don't work with unarmored, I didn't see in the 0.8 rules if it should or not.

@@GingerSteave Another good catch. Shields now work with Unarmored, including Monk and Berserker. DisADV also shows for Attacks if no Shield Mastery. I have updated the Beastborn descriptions but not into formulas yet - on that now. (None of these are applied to the live version yet , except the BB descriptions- I will post another update in the next day or so.)

My biggest suggestion right now might be to change the trades to drop downs and reducing The size of that section by at least half that would add a lot more space to your main page. Then maybe spells can graduate to the front page or something else.

Absolutely love what you've done, but there are some issues with your Spells lookups on the Character Sheet. I made a Wizard, and selected the "shield" cantrip, however it is showing the information for the cleric spell "Shield of Faith". I think the use of the "Index/Match" lookups instead of a lookup would return the right values. Again, great effort!!!! Thanks for the feedback. I have made modifications to the spreadsheet recently and I believe this error has been fixed. I have been using vlookups until I learned that xlookups are awesome! Let me know if there are other issues. Cheers.

Absolutely love what you've done, but there are some issues with your Spells lookups on the Character Sheet. Awesome job with it mate. However, I noticed a couple of things you might want to update. Martial characters start off with the Attack Maneuvers, they don’t count towards the 4 you choose. Fighters get 1 technique at level 1. They get it from their Technique Master feature, it’s not on their class table Hope this helps 😊

Wow man! This thing is amazing. Truly impressive. It's the best character creative I've seen yet and I've seen a few attempts so far. I see you're still making improvements too which is amazing. Would love to see more of the ancestry details added. For example, I added natural combatant from the dwarf and I would love to see the additional proficiencies to be added to Shields and armors. Speaking of armors, I believe that the calculations for light and heavy armor are off by one. It's giving a +2 to PD for both when it should only be given a +1 I believe. Next, it would be super cool if the Psion and Psyborn were included.

@@TheSinginSmash Thanks for the comments! Yes, the armors needed to be redone - I was including the CM twice. I have added the armor modifications in the next version, too. I am continuing to add ancestry traits and other text gradually. I'm glad you like the sheet. Cheers. Been watching your videos on the mod and I think more events, even just flavor would be interesting. Kind of like how you get a "Heavy Fighting in Marianas" (or whatever its called) event in World at War when the US Marines land. I've dabbled (VERY briefly) in checking out the editor for Strategic Command: World at War and I'm impressed you did this. I can only barely imagine the level of work put in. It looks so well put together and seems to even play nicely balance wise (though adversaries might have a slight early advantage like how the Axis have early on). Very impressive.

Good tip! Once the mod is working as intended, I will certainly add some more of this flavour to it. There are already plenty of event text messages but I tend to click through them quickly in the playthroughs but more with graphics would add interest. Cheers.

About reports: I don't know if it is moddable, but I think with this many nations it would be good if you could get the reports with extra tabs for all allied/all adversaries shown in one graph. Income, spent on troops, lost troops combined would give idea of the current situation better than collecting and counting by hand from each tab.

Some can like Angford and Angnord but not all. Viking units can only be attached to their own leaders. Most can attach to the major leaders but not the minor ones.

Idea for naval unit: Burn/fire ships, "suicide" unit for sea. Cheap, slow, one use, very vulnerable if attacked. A way to attack harbors with resource damage. With X percentage to make damage to ships in docks also? Maybe even take resource damage off from other ships? Would be thematic due to the much more close quarters fighting than with WW2 long range shelling.

Units are limited by the underlying type from the WW2 version but this might be possible. It would have to replace another unit slot, too. Worth testing, anyway. When they get Volley and Gunpowder, warships and galleons do a lot of damage to resources.

About ships: The naval counters are a bit hard to figure out who is friend/foe when ships are intermingled. There is no instant recognizition of the flags and colors like in WW2 games. Maybe put one color border for allied and another to adversary naval units? Reds are one and green another?

Is the Dreadwyrms unit special or does the capital still need to be captured for the nation to surrender? How are the surrendering systems overall, any changes for nations to continue fighting after capitals are conquered?

The Dreadwyrm is powerful and has a 25% damage evasion but otherwise to defeat him requires the capture of Ymirrenvale (his lair) and Morbryte, as normal. I have used alternative capitals, rather than having new countries created so countries keep fighting longer in most cases. They also get rebels/partisans if they are defeated. Angnord ships will join Angford if Angnord is defeated.

Is there any changes to the combat resolutions? It feels like the losses seem to come out higher more often than in vanilla game (like attacker gets 1:3 odds and then loses 2 points).

No, the odds are as per vanilla. There is a chance (I think it's explained in the Manual) of a 1-point variation either way but the mod doesn't change anything there.

Generally, there is only a mobilization modifier (sometimes ongoing, sometimes one-off) but in the case of Maelstrom they mobilize fully when Watersbend is captured. Not a DoW but a big effect.

Since this video was made, two things have changed: 1. The campaign and mod will only work with War in Europe 2. Each new version will have its own name and iteration and not just 'Orb and Crown'.
