This is how drums are meant to be played. Raw power, amazing skills. Low quality video is just adding great atmosphere of 90"s metal music. I play guitar, and always thought it was my destiny, but this video changed everything. I am buying a drum set. Forgive me my neigbours

It's awesome you have this documented, also Schuldiner's actions is directly representative of his "change" so to speak and a good way of touring this first life metal album

Sean is my drum hero along with Neil but here he butchered a masterful arrangement from Bill. screwed the musicality. the drum parts from Spiritual Healing are untouchable.

It's important to admit that this guy was asking first. It was his gift that allowed the whole style to take a giant step forward. He changed the rules of the game! In addition to power and speed, he brought metal-drumming musicality! He was just the first. It is always difficult to be the first. Rest in peace, Sean...

Is it me, or the angel, but does Sean's snare drum look bigger than a standard 13" or 14" ?

Ive been having alot of thoughts about how life passes so quick With that said i saw sean perform with cynic at el rey theater in 2011? I feel grateful i got to witness his talent. Music is a big thing in my life where it soothes my anxiety and existential crisis due to getting older, but as I watch this to try to have some endorphins by being taken back in time then suddenly i start freaking out at the thought that sean was taken from us too damn soon. I guess enjoy the momment to the fullest and be present with your loved ones. Time flies. In conclusion, TIME F**cking FLIES

I vividly remember buying this on cassette when it was released put the tape in on a walkman and pressed play as i was walking away from the sound cellar in dublin after like 5 to 10 seconds the drumming kinda made my body invisibly flip 360 degrees or should i say my ears . Will never forget that moment

Hey Sean, so happy you got the camera back in the days. You basically documented a whole period of my teen years, when I was still young to see these bands live, plus, none of them would have a concert in Czechoslovakia/Czechia/Slovakia.
