Silverball Mania, Mata Hari, Playboy (1978), Nitro Ground Shaker and Phantom, all in one pinball machine. Classic Bally collection ❤ Great game, Harlem Globetrotters On Tour my favorite.

There's also an added post to the right of the Michaelangelo targets. That's a major wear spot on the production playfields. The factory mylar is strangely missing from that spot and that explains why! I wonder if the ball kept getting stuck behind it?

Very awesome, thanks for sharing! In TNT Amusement's video of him touring Data East's factory back in the day, you'll see a new game that they were hiding under a sheet, with Todd believing it to be TMNT. However, through the sheet you could see it had a green beacon light, which always confused me... but now it all makes sense!!

What a better pin TMNT would have been if they would have used all these features. You need to add switches for those star rollovers and see if they register. NOOOOOOOOOOO DON’T PUT THIS ON LOCATION 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ You gotta be kidding.

Spirit is my holy grail pin. I may have to buy a repro from microplayfields and build the game. That would be the definition of project!

Very cool pin! The 80’s cheesiness makes this even better! What Gottlieb’s in the list below are the best in your opinions? I’m looking to buy one of them. I want the most challenging pin! Thanks! Retro-man Genesis (Gottlieb 1986) Tag Team (Gottlieb 1985) Time Line (Gottlieb 1980) Volcano (Gottlieb 1981) Robo War (Gottlieb 1988)

Although the game is still in early code developed it honestly looks amazing to me. Art package is the best I’ve seen since Scared Stiff, gameplay looks smooth and wildly different than any other pin I’ve played. In time adjustments will be made to music, pacing, assets, rules…can’t f’n wait to see how it develops. Could easily squash Elwins Godzilla for game of the year if the code is handled expertly over the next 12 months.

While very rare, I think that there are more than 50 of these games in existence. I know of at least two collectors that have multiple copies of Voltan; and they do not post their collections on the internet. I think the rule of thumb of number of games that still exist is halved every 10 yrs only held true prior to the home collector market began to grow in the 21st century. I think one needs to adjust in years post 2000 that the attrition rate is about 1% per year. Also I think that one of the reasons they only made 365 of these pins, besides maybe not testing well on location is that Bally wanted to utilize the production lines for games that were selling better or in more demand Like Playboy, Star Trek and Kiss at that time. I love my Voltan, but more for the artwork package, not so much for game play. I kinda wish it had chimes instead of electronic sounds, as this game has more of an EM feel to it.

@Jaspa Jones might want to rethink that. A low number NIB just sold for $15k on pinside. Keep in mind the code is still in very early stages. Assets, music, rules will grow to be amazing in the next 10 months.

@38:55 Completing all of the shots in the house mini-playfield to then shoot the ball upstairs for multi-ball looks so satisfying =) This table is freakin' awesome and the recent code update has really elevated the table into possible Top 10 tables of all time conversation in my view.

I wish the tech existed back in the 90's for pinball machines to receive code updates. Games like Funhouse, Super Mario Bros., Data East's Star Wars, Road Show, Theatre of Magic and others would've benefited tremendously. (Funhouse getting extra rules and modes, Road Show getting a mode randomizer, the rest fixing their "Repeat same shot over and over" exploits).

Played this game endlessly in 1980 or so ... this and Paragon. Gagu's Arcade in Lewiston Maine and The Party Shop while skipping school "nuking" burritos in the relatively new invention "The Microwave oven". Nice to see the game again in your video ... FANTASTIC. The one we played had a broken tilt so we would lift the front end and let the ball hit all the targets to get the specials so we could play all day on one quarter.
