I love my Tesla, its the best car I’ve had. But the FSD is very dangerous and must not be used. Suddenly it will throw you into the ditch or phantom brake right before a school buss. Musk has promised FSD since October 2016. After reading about AI and autosteer there will probably not be a safe autopilot in our lifetime.

My only qualm with this is the usage of a 6-50 receptacle on a 30 amp circuit. Sure you are accounting for your use case by derating your Tesla, but what happens if/when you sell the home and someone who doesnt know any better hooks up a different 6-50 plug into it? I suppose since you specced the conduit for 55 amps probably nothing other than the breaker tripping. So in your config less of a safety issue as much as a pain for someone else to sort out. Aside from that great video:)

We parked and charged for the entire game. The garage attendants asked at the entrance if we would like a EV charging spot and guided us to these.

It's an extra $100.00 a year for registration, but other than that you actually get a tax break when buying one.

The first 10% degrades quickly but it levels out at around 90. Nothing to be concerned about so long as it does not continue to degrade at that rate.

So what did you do with the exposed grounding wire once you got it to the Tesla housing? I see you used the green one for ground.

They are all insulated, no bare copper grounding conductor in the MC I bought. I used the red and black for power, green for grounding, and the spare white or grounded conductor isn't used, but if I wanted to I could ditch the wall charger and add a nema 14-50 outlet which would require a grounded conductor as well. The actual towing range is about less than 90 miles. Tesla app cannot calculate the actual towing range. The price of cybertruck is twice over priced.

That's about what I gathered doing research. Seems pointless to even call it a truck if it only tows for less than 100 miles before recharge. How long to get back to 100% battery? I bet it ain't a couple minutes like refueling. What a waste....anyone calling this a truck is an idiot

@@WhoDat19 : it takes about an hour to fully charged if you precondition the battery for 15-20 minutes. If you didn’t preconditioned the battery, it took about at least 2 hours at fast charging. On top of that charging cost was 0.48 cents for 1 kWh; which is more expensive than gas.

What's the life time expectancy of the battery for fast charging? I wouldn't be opposed to EVs however right now it just seems like a waste. Fast charging in my mindset puts wear on the batteries.....am I right here?

It's actually quite shocking how bad FSD is. You would think it would be able to recognize hazard flashers on stationary vehicle literally right in front of it after a decade of development. It drives like a half blind senior citizen learning to drive for the first time.

This is a pretty old version, the newer ones are much better. The stats show just the opposite using FSD causes less accidents and once perfected will save millions of lives and billions of dollars in lost productivity. Thanks for viewing

Elon hiked the price of FSD too early. This price "reset" was needed. I just added FSD to my car, it was a 2k upgrade. When I first got the car in 2018 my favorite thing was getting improvements. With EAP those improvements completely stopped. FSD is bringing that fun back. Is doing a 2k upgrade on a 6 year old car with 90k worth it? I don't know, but I have no interest in selling the car anytime soon. I also think Tesla will allow FSD transfers, at random times, when they want to boost new car sales.

Have our MY AWD on order for pick up in May. Got the 3 months of FSD through a referral code. Very excited. When you say you need to “goose” the car to pick up speed a bit, how is that done? Through the foot throttle or right steering wheel scroll wheel? If the throttle, does the speed stay where you set it after accelerating? Thanks for the video, great demo of FSD.

Yea, you tap the acceleration pedal. You usually have to remind FSD with a goose to stay at your desired speed. Thank you for watching

@@teslanorthwestevs sometimes it spends just a little more time than it should at some intersections. Tapping the accelerator seems to give it a "The human part of this thinks you are ok" and it makes it a little more sure of itself. I would call it more of a tap of approval than an override cause it usually takes off full send once you do that
