So how far did you get? I have one to fix as well. The gearbox shaft is a bit worn and the sheave that goes on it is a bit worn. All in all, too much. I can rebuild the hydraulics, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on it either.

Hello! I recently acquired a 1000 mustang. Trying to take the clutch off now can’t get the inner part of the clutch off the motor it slides like an inch and that’s it. Any help? Thanks

I have a mustang 1200 and my rotary union went out. My rotary union is a dublin 1005-057-019 with a 1 " self locking nut fastened to the union. I called Dublin and other places no luck. I ended up using a nut and lock washer off of a ball on a receiver hitch on my pick up. It had the same threads and used a ratchet strap around the belt on the lower clutch and then around the inner half of the variable speed clutch and tightened it so that the belt was received on the variable speed clutch. Then I used a 3/4 inch end wrench on the outer part of the shaft coming out of the variable speed clutch and a 1 1/2 wrench to tighten the nut up till I compressed the lock washer. I did take my grinder with a cutoff wheel on it and trimmed an 1/8 or a little more so I could fit my 3/4 wrench on the end of the shaft. It makes it a single speed but has been working great. Hope this helps if your in a pinch like I was.

Hello . I'm looking to purchase one of these. Are the parts expensive because of the age of the machine, parts availability or takeuchi just has high prices?
@Tiersmoke925552 жыл бұрын
@@chile2be991 most of your part are harder to find given is not a very popular machine in the US. Your local dealer can get just about everything you need.
@duncanmccalla78062 жыл бұрын
You can actually use the machine without the hydraulic connected. Just don't pull that lever unless you have that outlet plugged. Level ground only though. No breaks on the hills and put the sheive on Ridgid.
@duncanmccalla78062 жыл бұрын
Finally somebody called it a clutch. If it won't disengage, you don't have breaks going down hill. The center pedal is for the breaks and kills the engine if the clutch won't disengage. Thank you for your video. Please keep doing them.

You have a great excavator. First 16 I’ve seen with a hydro thumb. How do you like it, do you feel the need for a larger machine?
@kono9934 жыл бұрын
Thanks! haven't seen many others with a hydro thumb myself, But this is definitely one of the most versatile little excavators out there. Weighing just under 4000lbs is convenient but has its limitations as well, i would like to eventually upgrade to a machine in the 3.5 to 5 ton range down the road.

really depends on a few things like size of the yard and how many trees, but a good amount. without walls its was rated for about 5.9 cubic yards, but with the wall i bet its closer to 10 or 12 cubic yards of leaves depending on conditions. sorry for the late response.

Need some guy atv advice my fiancee wants aa 450R for christmas is it a difference between a 450R and a honda trx 250x? I found a trx 250x whats yal opinion
@kono9936 жыл бұрын
the 450r and 250x are two complacently different machines. 250x is low power trail quad and 450r is more of a performance quad with the 450 engine from the crf450x dirt bike. 250x is cheaper to own and maintain then the 450r is more high strung and requires more regular maintenance to keep it in check.
