Can I ask. It seems that you sealed the bucket. Some said that cold brew still need air circulation. So, which one better? Sealed or give little space for air circulation?

I just let it steep in French Presses overnight. No hot water needed. Cold Brew means cold water.

You should try it, I've tried it and I prefer this method. 1/3 hot water no less than a minute then pour the cold water. A bit stronger and tastier than only cold water.

This video defeats the purpose of word "cold" in Cold Brew. You applied heat with hot water this results in the acid content within this coffee beverage that you’ve made. This isn’t cold brew and the title suggests that it is and should be changed.

@@j.woodgard Scam is a harsh word. But I agree, using hot water defeats the purpose of cold brew. Hot brewing extracts a lot of caffeine and acid...Cold brew is known for being low in acidity.

There’s definitely a difference in the handling of the paper product. If this were my product/video I’d probably redo the paper compared handling it would genuinely make the product and video seem more appealing for the simple fact of honesty. The theatrics with the grinding the coffee and flipping the bag about and the roughness during the process of pouring the water are glaring and in my opinion cheapen the product for the viewer. If anything be more confident with your coffee product and pour the water roughly on your bag to show just how tough it is in comparison, rather than making your video advertising how shit the paper is we already know the paper is shit 😅 just a suggestion/ constructive criticism 🤙

this is not HOW to make cold brew, the science behind how it works, Still vs Nitro for any home-keg set-up, basically nothing helpful to an individual that just wants to cold-brew coffee at home on any kind of scale.
@trulybear221210 ай бұрын
Nothing helpful? Really. He gave the ratio of 5lb of course ground coffee to 5 gal of water. Now just bring that down for an individual. 1lb of course ground to 1 gal of water. If that is still too much break it down further. Your asking about science & nitro? The title of the video says "Basic". Water, coffee, fabric filter, bucket and time were all given. Pretty damn basic for getting started just like advertised.

In a plastic bucket??? Do you know how many chemicals are leaching into that coffee?? Do your customers know thats how you brew your cold brew??

You do know plastic can't be made with BPA anymore right. Nothing would happen. The foods you eat are shipped in plastic or prepared in plastic. If your that worried about it make yours at home and don't go out in fear of little plastic particles in the air.
@ventureted10 ай бұрын
@@455king4help they replaced BPA's with another phthalate thats just as dangerous. But thats cookware. Not commercial buckets that are not food grade quality. And ya, I know. Everything is in plastic. It's a massive problem.

Do you let the cold brew rest and allow for fines to fall to the bottom before bottling?
@altocoldbrew24412 жыл бұрын
fines will always be in the brew. as soon as you start pouring, the fines will move around - so i'm not sure you'd find any benefit from 'waiting' because as soon as you start, the fines are already moving around!
