Eminent Domain is so messed up. Like how can a government just take people’s property like that? I thought this was America where people have the right to own land and property. But ED is nothing new. Government has been using it for centuries ever since Blacks became free from slavery they started buying land, building cities, towns and businesses to make lives themselves and build generational wealth for their families to pass down. For a while Black cities were successful. We ain’t bother anybody. We abide the Jim Crow Laws at the time when they had it. We stayed in our communities away from Whites. But of course Whites were jealous and hated seeing Blacks thriving and being successful more than some of them they came in and stole their land they worked hard for thus leaving most Blacks destitute and living in ghettos hence why most of us don’t have anything to leave our children when we’re gone. If the state and federal government paid us for our property it was much to live on anyway

A house and a car are not assets as they actively take money out of your account through your monthly mortgage payments, fuel, repairs etc. They're actually liabilities.

As an avid investor, I frequently ponder how successful investors get millions of dollars from their investments because I see some people content with their strong portfolios. I have over $545K in equity from the sale of my house, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Should I invest in stocks now or should I wait for a better opportunity?
@tunnelvision324610 күн бұрын
I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.

The importance of advisors is often overlooked until emotions interfere with decision-making. I can vividly recall a few summers ago, amidst a prolonged divorce, when I urgently required support to keep my business afloat. Seeking out licensed advisors, I found someone exceptionally qualified. Despite facing inflation, she significantly contributed to increasing my reserves from $275k to $850k.

'Carol Pasol Lewis'' is one of the greatest financial advisors who can help shape your portfolio. There are going to be challenging times ahead, and getting through them will need careful personal money management.

Thank you for this tip , I must say, Carol appears to be quite knowledgeable. After coming across her online page, I thoroughly went through her resume, and I must say, it was quite impressive. I reached out to her, and have booked a session with her.

Most Americans find it hard to retire comfortably amid economy downtrend. Some have close to nothing going into retirement, my question is, will you pay off mortgage as a near-retiree, or spread money for cashflow, to afford lifestyle after retirement?
@Raymondcraw1967RaymondCrawley11 күн бұрын
as most investing-related questions, the answer is, it depends.. my best suggestion is to consider advisory management
@FaithAndrada-xo9ou11 күн бұрын
Agreed, the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around 300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.

this is huge! mind if I look up the advisr that guides you please? only invest in my 401k through my employer for now, but enthused about diversifying my investments for a prosperous financial future

17:59 he talks about the re-unification dream. I learnt in school that the word "unification" should be used. "Reunification" may mean the claim of more territories (used to be part of Germany) that have already belonged to other countries like Poland and the Soviet Union.

"Free market innovation" is always a cover for privatized profit from government funded research. This is patently absurd, but it's worse than that because as younger generations realize that "free market" propaganda is nonsense, we risk swinging to the other extreme. There are ways in which market economics are beneficial to society, but that gets lost when it's propped up as the panacea that it never was. We need government programs taking big risks without direct profit. This applies to research, but it also applies to insurance and assurance programs for the necessities of life. It applies to social safety nets, to public education, and to early childhood health services and nutrition programs. "Free market" has become the byword for the dismantling of our great public institutions and of the very republic itself. When I see nonsense like this, I see only an old soldier of a propaganda war long ended whose meddling in the modern day risks the collapse of civilization itself.
@wilbertcr25 күн бұрын
Looks to me like this guy worked for or with the Government to achieve his goals, so why does the presenter call his achievements free market creativity if it was the people pooling their money via taxes that funded this guy’s research?

1914 wasn't during the Great Depression. Why are you defending the cultivation of bloated, carb-rich, nutrient-poor monocrops which rely on chemical life support to even survive? This was a permanent and drastic solution to a temporary problem as was so often the case with early 20th century innovations.
@bartonpaullevenson342726 күн бұрын
This story is due to monocultures, and planting crops from American cultures in foreign fields. When you have vast fields of a single crop, diseases are more likely to take the fields. Native plants, which sometimes provide the same or better nutrition, are brought out of cultivation. When these thirsty "green revolution" plants are cultivated, they drink more local water, and the water table shrinks.

IT'S ABOUT time SOMEONE is CORRECTING ANOTHER MYTH in HISTORY!!! ANNIE MALONE WAS the FIRST BLACK FEMALE MILLIONAIRE and Pioneer of the beauty and cosmetology industry NOT Madame CJ Walker who was student of MALONE and LEARNED EVERYTHING she knew from MALONE. AND SOME say Walker stole MALONE's formulas and started her own business. MALONE OWNED an entire city BLOCK in St. LOUIS where her beauty school stood. Malone philanthropist and started a children's orphanage in St. Louis in which she is widely celebrated for to this day. Many have forgotten MALONE's pioneering of the BLACK beauty industry and all the shine goes to Walker unfortunately.
