2 many people sleep on City and Colour; same with Justin Nozuka. Better Canadian artists.

In the summer of 92 in Pittsburgh, I fell in love with a girl and them. I miss them both so much. Really appreciate this song more as I get older.

It can’t be said enough. Pete was a powerhouse. Every time the camera pans to him, I’m mesmerized. Drummers of that caliber are few and far between. Definitely one of the all time greats. And then there’s Les in his Rambo phase 😂

I don't know why, but somehow, out of the vast library of Blue Rodeo phenomenally gut gripping songs, this is my favourite.

Wow!! I have loved this band since 5 Days in July came out, one of my top 10 all time albums...but until now I have never seen a recording of them performing live from back in the day. I used to always think JC was the star of the band, but I came to realize that GK's darker and moodier songs and performances really had more of an impact on me. Still listen to 5 Days in July on a regular basis...it is a real mood lifter.

Iconic song, iconic band. etched in our audiophile brains as the best bit of Canadiana music and talent for all to celebrate, enjoy and be proud of the gift of the best musical composition coming out of the east coast.

I re-visit this performance on the regular. It's so so good. The giant palm slide on the organ, Gregg's leg kick in the bridge section, that vintage Gibson mandolin, Baz playing through a monster bass amp, Glenn with the build up going into Gregg's leg kick and Kim's sliding - it's all there AND probably one of my all time favorite songs ever.

You say that you're leaving Well, that comes as no surprise Still, I kinda like this feelin' Of being left behind Well, it's just like goin' home It's kinda like those sunsets That leave you feelin' so stoned Hey, hey, I guess it hasn't hit me yet I fell through this crack and I kinda lost my head I stand transfixed before this streetlight Watching the snow fall on this cold December night Never thought this could happen But somehow the feeling's gone You got sick of the pattern And I got lost in this song Hey, hey, I guess it hasn't hit me yet I fell through this crack and I kinda lost my head I stand transfixed before this streetlight Watching the snow fall on this cold December night Hey, hey, I guess it hasn't hit me yet I fell through this crack and I kinda lost my head I stand transfixed before this streetlight Watching the snow fall on this cold December night And out in the middle of Lake Ontario The same snow is falling (the same snow is falling) On the deep silent water (on the deep silent water) The great dark wonder Into the waves of my heart Into the waves of my heart Of my heart
