Kathy, thank you for your presentation here. I have done this type of work using scrap pieces of paper (left over from ads) of course starting with a mix of different colors in paint for the background. I love doing nature scenes... especially birds. I have also been doing quilted vests. Mixing colors is so much fun here! I'm now thinking about how to mix together the left over pieces of the grey tones in a creative way. Thanks so much for your presentation of ideas and how to start! And Yes, I have been painting as well! Shalom! Maire

Is it wise to put one on a quilt? Thinking of the washing requirements.

I’ve always used cotton batting, but I want to do wool with my next project. I am making a whole cloth quilt, repurposing an old linen/cotton blend duvet cover. Since the fabric is old, it won’t be shrinking any. Should I prewash and dry the wool batting, before sandwiching, pinning, and quilting?

I was in the middle of trying to join my bindings. I was trying to follow along on another video but I couldn’t follow how the ends were flipped the right way and I kept twisting things and having to rip stitches out. My poor binding wasn’t going to take much more of this so I went to find another explanation and I found you. Your explanation is great! Thank you so much. I got the job done right away after following along your demonstration
