It's hard not to fall for the fomo.Im waiting to see what happens to Mark Spears Monsters.I missed the first issue.Im getting the rest.And if the trend continues.I'll get a good deal for issue 1 later.Number 1 is just too hot.

Hey JP! Yes, WATCHMEN, Part 1 animated movie came out maybe two or 3 months back. "art 2 is supposed to becoming out any minute. It's their attempt to tell the story closer to the actual way it was told in the comic book. It's okay, IMO, nothing to pee yourself over if you haven't seen it.

The Watchmen animation passed me by as well... seems, it did happen. -- Watchmen is a 2024 American adult animated two-part superhero film directed by Brandon Vietti and written by J. Michael Straczynski. Watchmen Chapter I received a digital release on August 13, 2024. The film was released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on August 27, 2024. -- there is a Trailer on KZbin..

Same here. My dad (RIP) used to have a running gag. He loved Supes and I love Bats. When supes died I laughed, and he had a lot of fun when Bats broke his back, But I like this new Supes.

Monsters is FANTASTIC story-wise too. Also, all of these covers besides cover A are extremely and purposefully limited. Like 1-3,000. The print runs are published in every book.

It's an excellent show. I enjoyed season 2 quite a bit too.... but season 1 was just amazing. I couldn't believe how good it was.

Great video. Almost all books will drop in value in 6 months and that is great advice to remind people of. Ultimate Spider-Man is still a $75 dollar book though, and my prediction is that Absolute Batman will be the same price or higher in 6 months. Longer term value for both will depend on the quality and popularity of the titles though imho.

Honestly, I don't think anyone has read Monsters. Yes, a few relative people have, but none of these people spending more than 10 bucks. They like the cool covers, and this book was talked up at every opportunity by the Beyond Wednesday guys from Kickstarter phase to interviewing Spears during a Hot 10 episode.

Stray Dogs #1 was a $100 book. Monsters will end up tanking after the series ends. Still keeping mine though!

I still can't get over that West Coast Avengers #45 considering that it LIVED in bargain bins and had never been worth more than a buck until the WandaVision series came out, so I'm surprised that comic hasn't crashed and burned in value yet.
