My 1st question is was this hunt in the wild or in an enclosed property and my second question is why do people feel the need to kill an animal just so that they can have a trophy. I hunt too so I don’t have an issue with killing an animal for food or out of necessity but I have ZERO respect for trophy hunters who aren’t going to eat their kill.

Wow! What a monster caliber! I have a 300 H&H myself. It’s not the hardest kicker that I own but it’s hard enough.

2 things that made me even happyer for her. 1) she dropped the bolt open after shooting. . 2) picked up her brass lol. Safety 1st then range ettiquette.👊👏👏

I admit to being confused as to just what that 'running' lion shooting is supposed to be simulating? I can tell you for a FACT, Real lions trot faster than that, much less run...Secondly, they don't run near you at 90 degrees, most likely, they 'run' either away from you at an oblique angle (using whatever cover is available) OR, directly at you, and in those circumstances you can bet they mean business and come at you fast enough to catch a horse sprinting to a full gallop. To me this video seems most comparable to the 'shooting range' at Disney amusement parks where the target metal ducks cross back and forth. Except for the .375 H&H, of which I have two (both SAKO's) that I've been shooting upwards of 40 years now.... I will say this for the shooter, being a 'stout' woman, she appears up to handling the big magnum without drama, Kudos!

Open sights, big bore rifle at that range on ANY moving target, looks like pretty darned good shooting to me. Why don't you post your own video and show us what YOU got?

@@1965l88 Normally Martin I don't reply to these kind of posts, cause over the years, frankly, they get old, but in this case, well maybe a couple of observations. Firstly, I never challenged her 'skill' or implied in any way, that I can/could've done better, in fact , I complimented her ability to handle the 'Magnum"; so...your 'challenge' is a bit perplexing. As to myself a few points, as I implied (been firing the .375's for around "forty' years now, sooo, I'm old:) In my time you didn't have cell phone camera's, youtube for a production forum, or any of that stuff. Secondly, anyone around me at 'high pucker' moments, (I shot 'paper' only to make sure the weapon was sighted in) well the LAST thing on their minds was holding a camera LOL, to put it mildly most were in fact scared 'chitless'; a couple were intent on holding their OWN rifles, less about watching me, but rather scanning the surrounding terrain for 'other' potential aggressors/ dangers. Lions you see don't often do ANYTHING Alone..., professional combat soldiers either.. As to whom or what I am or have been, well that's not germane to the op's post. I will tell you that I HAVE been asked by several authors for permission to write about my life, each in an entirely different field. I remain hesitant however, I do not seek fame or notoriety. You see, I could tell you things,,,,things that you would really prefer not to 'know'. There, I've said far more than enough, in fact more than I should've. Good day to you sir. In these days, and under the circumstances the world is now facing..I suspect you will have more to concern yourself with, than one old man. Good luck to you and your generation.

Watching people shoot guns is like watching paint dry. That's why I go do my own target shooting. And it's really easy, just aim steady, and when ready, squeeze.

I’d like to see all the armchair marksmen shoot any moving target no matter the speed, especially with a large caliber rifle. I’ve shot firearms for 60 years and know how difficult it is to hit a moving target. Bet the mockers haven’t! I think she did a 👍🏼.
