Glad to see buffaloe farming in Newzealand. As here in Pakistan we have a huge market for buffalo milk though we also have many good cow breeds. This is because buffalo milk has more cream and milk solids hence tastes much much better than cows milk. It makes excellant yogurt another favourite here. We make a sweet summer drink called lassi by putting yogurt milk, sugar and ice together in a blender. Just give it a try you will love it. The best buffalo breeds are Neeli and Raavi. These two breeds have been kept here for hundreds of years.They have good temperament not very large, good looking and good milkers.
