I absolutely did not need another looper beyond my Aeros Loop Studio or the versions in the Chroma Console, LVX, MOOD MKII, Microcosm, or SP-404 MKII which also enjoy using but you better believe I just bought one of these anyway… now there’s one less pedal that I’m hoping to get when my Mystery Box arrives 😂

Yep! As long as your settings don't change, the pedal will recognize you are set up for expression after powering on again.

Our pedals operate standalone. So no OS is required for use. They can be used with any DAW or operating system if your audio interface allows for the extra audio connections to route signal to and from the pedals. Thanks!

Eventide recommends any TS or TRS expression pedal with a 10K - 25K potentiometer for use with its H90. Will The Expression Roller meet this requirement?

When I try updating the firmware on Windows using Google Chrome with XMOS audio driver installed, it still doesn't recognize it. Kinda shitty that there's really no recourse for a broken pedal other than to send it in.

Pedal parameters controled by envelope, where envelope is controlled by playing dynamics, is what the supremely expensive Vongon Paragraphs ii is (in my opinion) sorely lacking. Kudos to the CB team!

How does one record a mic through a pedal and into a DAW seeing as pedals are a line level signal?

Generally, mic levels need to be boosted before going into a guitar pedal for use. So you can either run the pedal as in insert in a mixer, or use a standalone preamp, like a ROLLS mp13 or ART TubeMP, to bring the mic level to a working level before running into the pedal. That said, pedals can operate with a wide variety of signal levels. Line level is usually the max, and mic level is usually too low. I think, Clean is the best pedal you made. Analog, wide, bottomless and so naturally some at the same time! Please resume shipping your pedals to Russia. It's hard to buy your products through intermediaries.

I wasn't lucky enough to get a Dirt Bird in my CB Mystery Box (got a Clean instead, which I'll check out and enjoy, I'm sure!), so I hope the Dirt Bird gets a Small Batch run in a different color or something. I really love the sounds in this demo, and wish I'd ordered more than one Mystery Box! Cheers all, and thank you, Joel, for making these wonderful things.
