I have always loved The Payolas. I saw them open for Supertramp at the Ex in Toronto in June 1983. They had an amazing standing ovation at the end of a killer set, and blew the mainliners off the stage. I just picked up Hammer on a Drum in a local vintage shop today. I knew every note. Love these guys.

30 years really? where did it go. We got pulled over, William got arrested on our way out (of hell), he looked back at me with a glazed stare. I drove for the first time that day 2000 miles. I did see bill again 25 years later at a funeral. This was the cassette in the radio that day. Did the world end?
