pulling in Three js for a gradient does not really make sense but if the whole project is 3D than sure.

I tried recreating this and was able to do so by moving the container instead of the texts. I also changed the style directly in the animate function and i didn't seem to notice any issues. Does anyone know why he used gsap in particular to animate the texts?

There is a library call Hydra-synth. Is for making live coding with shaders but you can use it in any proyect to make visuals like gradients. Its not of course the best in performance but its really nice and if you stay simple and dont make a very heavy shader its a very simple way to make amazing shaders only in a few lines and works perfect. Also its ligther than threeJS.

I am not sure if we need to load threeJS lib just for gradient. It’s extremely heavy library. Even video will look more performant in fact that video can be lazy loaded
