Thanks for the tip, but did Scarab ever resolve the problem. I am looking at buying a late 2025 model 285 ID wake with all the bells and whistles for use in Sardinia Italy,

I own a 2020 215ID with Twin 300's and they put one battery in the thing. I keep it in a slip, but when it rains it runs the bilge pump. At dusk ready to come in the dock on Longview Lake KC, MO and it wouldn't start even with the starter pack that I carry. Needless to say, spent the night on the lake with my dogs. MO Water Patrol towed me in the next morning. Now I have 2 batteries!

So do you leave the battery switch to the 2nd setting (3rd is parrallel)? Just got a 2021 Scarab 285 in SoCal.
